Too many subscribers?

Hi Everyone,
nice forum you have here.
I have a problem that's a little unusual.
A few weeks ago, I started buying very cheap traffic and sending it to my astrology site, with the promise that visitors could receive a free personalised horoscope.
Within 3 weeks I had more than 1,200 subscribers, to whom I also promised free daily predictions.
All well and good for a week or two.
But lately, my hosting company is suspending my email account every day, because they have a limit of 1,000 emails per day per account.
I can foresee that after a month or so of free daily predictions, I could offer continuation only if the subscriber pays a modest fee.
This would trim the list of 1200 back to about 10, but what about when I wish to tell my list about a new post or my plans to grow the list to 50K subscribers?
I've looked into 3rd party email services, but they seem outrageously expensive, especially for a start-up site that only earns $2 per day from adsense.
Does anyone know of a work-around?

    Outrageously expensive???? at your current subscriber number you are looking at around $30.00 per month and if you are promoting that should be easy to recoup your costs. If you get up to your number of 50k subscribers you might be upwards of around $200.00 per month but again if you are promoting affiliate offers or your own product, even selling solo ads in your niche you can easily make that money back.

    If you want to be serious about this then you need to get serious

      Thanks for your opinions, Isaiah and agmccall.
      What you say is reasonable except that I don't have any product or affiliate offers lined up, and can't see any that would work.
      99% of the list are from India. They are interested in their own astrology.
      The traffic costs about $0.01 per visitor, or about $3 per day.
      The Adsense income is $2 per day.
      Maybe I could put on some non-Adsense ads that pay me per 1000 views.
      The cost of providing the predictions and chart is $30 per month.
      Al, you mention selling solo ads. Could you please post a link to a site with more info about that?

    Expensive?

    On what planet do you live on?

    An Aweber/GetResponse account with your list size would cost you about $30 a month.

    If you think that is expensive then go get a job to pay for it.

    Better yet use some of that Adsense money you are making to pay for it.

    Remember you are in business. So treat what you do like one.

        I think your going to find that Amazon SES does not have the best delivery, and a lot of your messages are going to be blocked and never ever read by your subscribers.

    Have you contacted your host and asked them to raise your email daily limit?
    Is there a reason they are throttling you that low?
    If all your emails are legit and there is no complaints they should have no issue doing that for you.
    1000 emails a day is nothing.

      Yes ProducerK.
      The host says because I am sharing the server, it only takes one spammer to ruin the reputation of the server for many users.
      They are not interested in assessing whether or not I am a spammer.
      Virtual Private Server hosting is not economical at this embryonic stage.
