Funnels and Email Lists

Hi everyone and fellow warriors

I'm new to this forum and looks great so far! I have a question...how can I create an effective funnel to build my mailing list without having an ebook, course to sell?

Any related tips welcome and thanks in advance.

    Hi Swareveland,


    you have asked how you can have an effective funnel to create a list if you do not have a product to sell.


    Well that's no problem at all.


    If you do not have anything to sell - you can promote affiliate products.
    There are lots to choose - from the Warriorplus for internet marketing products to Amazon for physical products and plenty in between.


    If you have nothing to offer as a freebie, you can create a report and make it into a PDF file or into a video using Screencast.


    You can also purchase books with resale rights here on the forum to give away - make sure they have free giveaway rights.

    you could go to a freelancing site such as Upwork
    and get someone to write a course for you in
    a subject that complements whatever you want
    to sell.

    If you have knowledge others want, you could create a membership site, private FB group, slack group, etc...

    You charge $1.00 for a 14 day trial
    The trial converts to a monthly fee of $19-$97
    You offer an upsell / backend offer of approx. 30% discount for 1 year membership

    You need to create some really high-quality content and ideally get about 40-50 members before launching the above. That way a good amount of trial users will be impressed and convert to monthly and you will have limited refunds on the upsell.

    The funnel is...

    Opt-in -> VSL for trail -> sales cart -> VSL upsell -> confirmation -> members area.

    Then you need to provide monthly content, training, etc... to keep the users subscribed.

    Reinvest all the money except the monthly subscriptions to buy traffic for the funnel. The month reoccurring subscriptions is your profit.

    You can send ppl to a trial offer, a free webinar or a low prize paid offer instead of using a free lead magnet.

    It is accepted that to build a list that you need to give a freebie away.

    However, subscribers will not be interested in paid for products if the freebie is of poor quality. If the subscriber gets a lot of value from the freebie they will think that the paid for product will be even better.

    Your sales funnel has got be consist of quality products, each building on the value of the previous product. It is possible to join a program where the quality product funnel is already in place with your job being to drive traffic to the free product that is at the top of the funnel.

    Building an email list become tough without any targeted traffic if you want to build an email list fast of targeted user then you should checkout solo ads they are great way to build an email list without selling or giving any thing

    I think Posinfo1 has made a good point about offering good quality freebies.


    People are much more likely to purchase your product if you have a truly great freebie - they will think the product you are selling will be even better and be more happy to part with their cash.

    What others said , make a good Freebie report, video etc.

    If its plr rewrite and make it as unique as possible, with new name ecover design etc, You can most of this done cheaply at Fiverr eg.

    Regarding the funnel since you don't have your own product is that right after they optin send them to an affiliate offer related to your freebie.

    Have a follow up sequence in place if they don't buy right away so you can build trust also by providing some good quality content.

    Some good point made by Attan,


    If you don't have an email follow up series you can do a search here on the forum for them where you can find them for sale or on Google or Fiverr.


    A good template with 6 or more emails for you to copy and edit with your own products will give you a good start and as Attan has mentioned you can offer some good quality content within these to build a good relationship with your subscribers.

    Your solution can be the free gift the you give, it can be an ebook, a video, a cheatsheet, toolkit.
    Just think of something that can help you potential customers to solve a problem, once you'll help them they'll see you as an authority figure and they will be more likely to buy from you.
