Can somebody please help?

I am trying to find out if you can trigger an automation series to an existing list in mailchimp?

I have a list that is populated by Zapier and already has a number of prospects in it. I am now looking to set up an automation series for that list. A welcome message and so on.

The only relevant trigger I can see is for 'when somebody joins or is imported into the list'. This means that the existing subscribers won't receive this mail or subsequent emails.

I know I can manually import these contacts into a new list which would solve this problem, but as new contacts are imported into the original list, I would have to again either import them into the new list or change the existing processes for how the original list was populated in the first (and ongoing) instance.

I'm sure I'm being stupid, but I am new to this and am looking for some simple advice.

I hope somebody can help.

    Basically after you create the message you should get the option to send this message to existing subscribers as well, so try to create the follow up first and then see if you have that option.
