I'm getting like up to 10 emails or more a day from this Superstar Millionaire Marketer....

I have kicked around the idea of sending multiple 'resends' to 'unopens' within a few minutes of each other. I know Matt does this a lot

Sounds desperate like someone has burned through cash and wants a quick fix. I guess I am not his target market . I would unsubscribe in seconds.

Yeah Matt has been notorious with supporting the mantra "the more you email the more money you make". For years he has sent a couple out everyday to his List.

But now in the last couple of weeks it just has been incessant and extreme

I don't know if this is happening in your situation, but it has happened to me with some of the top dogs who are relentless emailers . . .

Every time you respond to a request for a product (paid or not), more information, or simply to be alerted about something . . .

They make you "sign up" with your name and email address first. This "opting in" to get something is understandable (it qualifies your interest in that "thing") as they want the chance to send you something you ask for plus market to you (endlessly) in the future.

The problem lies in the fact that they don't sync or remove signups they already have from their new product list. Some marketers have many, many mailing lists (hundreds in some cases) even though the actual number of unique persons on all of those lists could be a small fraction of the total number of "subscribers" they claim they have.

Some gurus claim to have, say, 25,000 "subscribers" when in actuality, the number of unique individuals that are subscribing might be closer to, say, 5,000. It's in their best interest, of course, if they appear to have huge lists - it shows their "relevance" and acceptance in their niche. Then the guru mails a promotion to all his lists and you get bombarded with multiple duplicate emails.

All this is just an explanation to describe the problem that some marketers don't care to address: abusing your subscribers by not managing your mailing lists with their audience's best interests in mind.

Here's another variation of the same multiple email curse. I subscribe to a few marketers (and in several cases, multiple persons, partners really, that market under the same business name) where this same duplicate email problem exists. The partnership comes out with a new offer, and all of a sudden, I get emails from every one of the partners pushing the same exact thing. They're all competing against each other to be the first to get my money. Competition among partners in the same business!

Granted, what I am describing may be a little different than one over-zealous marketer just going crazy and sending many different emails per day. But either way, the end result is subscriber abuse, IMO. And that is inexcusable, as far as I am concerned. If you have your audience, subscribers, and customers' best interest in mind . . . you don't play this game.

There is a special place in hell for people that email more than once a week. If you email me more than once a week I instantly unsubscribe from your list, even if I have bought products from you. If that means that I don't get info on future upgrades, I'll live.

We all have our own level of tolerance for this type of annoyance.

Lol im like the opposite. I've got a 12k list and I email it like once at a month at the moment

I consistently resend to those that don't open, but I wait at least 24 hours.

Seems odd anyone would do it the way you say deliberately...makes no sense.

I suppose it would get the users attention, as long as you don't get too many unsubscribes from it, it may work. I would be concerned about possible complaints though.

I am with Mike Anthony in believing it is time to unsubscribe.

I might allow 2 in one day but on the 3rd one, I'm gone.

All you have to do is hit the unsubscribe button. Sometimes it seems these guys are strapped for cash and want some urgent money for the christmas LOL

Flip this for a moment.. yes it is annoying to the end user.. those not interested will bail... whats left after a week or 2 of doing this? a weeded and interested list.

Keep in mind names on your list cost you month after month.. it adds up... Especially if you have an older list, and your open rates are slumping, and your overall sales percentages are dropping, its in your best interest to cull the fields from time to time.

He seems to be clear on the strategy Robert - meaning, he feels good about the mass/volume emails - but I cannot dream of the type of internet marketer who really loves this strategy. Could be some high energy folks, but methinks that anybody who has the time to receive, open and read 15 emails a day may not be an internet marketing leader you are grooming.

Hey though; to each their own. If he feels good about it, and if he is empowering folks by doing this, then it is an awesome thing.

I just bumped up emailing my list to thrice weekly LOL. Too busy creating offsite to boost my authority and increase my exposure.

Check the "to:" email addresses, did you sign up for the same list more than once? Maybe they are only sending out 1 email, but you signed up for the same list multiple times?

They may be resending to non-opens? Also check the "from" address. They may be send from multiple email accounts to make sure they are inboxing?

In email marketing, email as often as possible, if they unsubscribe or complain, they're off the list but if they keep on buying then they are golden - sometimes it takes dozens of contacts to get a lead to purchase - it's a numbers game.

I guess 1 of the reasons he is a superstar online guru is that he is relentless - a quality that 98% of failed IM'ers don't possess.

Well, it is his list and he can do whatever he wants.

There is a real big possibility that Bacak's subscribers are in 100s of other marketers' list as well. We are talking about the highly competitive IM Niche anyway.

Therefore, it is just sensical he tries to increase the probability of his emails being read by sending lots of them per day.

Beside, if he is still doing it today, that means the method works for him.
