Can I send promotional materials and PDFs to my email subscribers using feedburner? If not please recommend an email subscription service that is free and supports blogger.com blogs.

    I really dont know about feedburner, but there are no real email marketing systems that are free and have good delivery.
    Also, if your sending PDF's, I would recommend hosting them somewhere and providing a download link for them.

    Professional email marketing services like MailChimp, AWeber, etc allow you to send promotional materials and PDFs to your subscribers along with giving you the full power of a robust email marketing platform. You get better analytics such as how many users opened your email, how many clicked on it, etc.

    You also get higher delivery rate meaning more of your users will get your updates. Last but not the least, you get the flexibility and options.

    For example, you can offer multiple subscription option (daily updates, weekly updates, etc)

    I am using MailChimp for my site, and it's FREE for up to 2000 subscribers.

    Sendinblue is a service that allows you to create autoresponders for free up to a certain number of subscribers. Not as user-friendly as some of the others but could be a good way to test it out. Why pay every month if you haven't got any subscribers yet?
