First time email list cultivating questions

Hello again WF!

These questions might be a little more advanced than an average first-time list builder would be asking... mostly because I managed lists for larger companies before. So, I understand the mechanics (how to make it work), I understand hyper-segmenting, and I understand the email list has to hold more weight than just "SUBSCRIBE TO OUR LIST!"

I have found a niche that has been around for a little over 5 years. This niche automates an entire department in an office and then some. Not to mention, It takes only about a week to setup and it's affordable. Some of you might know what this is, but I'd like to keep it a secret for now and become an influencer in that area.

With that said - I'd like to try creating an email list teaching people how to do this, tips and tricks, and more services relevant to this one.
But, I want to do it for free until I hit at least 300 subscribers ...

So, what's your favorite free to use email automation program, favorite tactic to get from 0-300, best platform for free advertisement, how long you estimate I can get to 300 subscribers dedicating one hour a day to it (I cannot afford to spend more hours/day until I see a positive return), and do you believe it would be worth it?

Thanks in advance!

No offence, but sending messages to 300 people in an auto responder would cost about $5-$10 to setup.

You should know this already if your going to be teaching people how to do it. And, if you dont have $5-$10 to setup your own paid auto responder, then you have no business teaching people about it.

    Just my 2c....

I'm alrigth with dropping $10, but I dont want to get out of hand with a budget.
Also, I'm not going to be teaching people how to use an autoresponder. Please re-read.

What exactly am I supposed to be re-reading?
Is this not you saying you want to create an email list "teaching people how to use your super secret automation software?"

And once again, your comment about anything over $10 getting "out of control", would further lead me to believe that maybe you should not be teaching people.

I get it, people on this forum are working within all kinds of budget constraints for one reason or another. I have no issue with that, I was a beginner once as well trying to make a dollar out of 15 cents. I do sort of take offence that you want to go out and teach people, when I dont believe there are credentials there to justify it.

Unfortunately, in any business, even online, $10 is never going to be considered a serious budget, no matter what it is.

That will buy you a few hundred emails to send
Or 2 clicks on google adwords
    Or 2 clicks on Facebook
    About 4-5 clicks on Bing
A few thousand banner impressions on Warrior Forum
    etc.....

    Catch the drift?

My friend, nowhere in this post did I say that I wanted to teach people how to email market. I had found a niche that's only been possible for the last 7 years that most people don't know about involving automation. Not email automation. There are more than just emails that you can automate as a B2B service ...

So - you don't want to invest any money and just a little time. Good luck with that.
