focus of your message and pre-qualify of the users.
I mean pushing back who are not in target or simply don't want to put enough effort on practise your stuff
I've learned it by Ben Settle and others marketers but it applies also in the life.
If you accept all the people coming in your life, it'll be crowded of losers and time consuming jerks...
AS an example it's clear that i email a lot, and i pitch a lot, i give lots of infos and pitch product i believe in.
Who don't want to receive 1,2 or even 6 email per day sometimes, simply unsubscribe.
If you get your leads used to have everything free, when u you'll pitch they would complain "why are u not givin me for free? i deserve it!"
So it's a good practice to clarify in your opt in page that you are going to sell something, you're going to email them, they'll get informed of that.
Through simply put something like 'Insert the mail for receving ... and GET UPDATED on my new courses"
So it would be clear enough that you're goin to pitch them.
Then it's good to do not let people who ask refund, to nopt in again.
Someone is so stupid to think "im getting a digital product, so i ask refund and keep it!": this poverty mindset would lead him nowhere, but you wouldnt have these kind of people in your email list.
Also you're not a charity: don't give discount like there's no tomorrow WITHOUT A REAL REASON WHY.
I mean don't say: 'this product costs 1000 usd but today it's for 7 usd"
It sounds like someone desperate.
And then: FOCUS on ONE THING.
You are there cause there's a problem, ad you have a solution. One solution for one problem.
I'm not funded in shopify, on seo, on mobile apps, i focus on email marketing and digital marketing. So you need to focus on one thing with one brand and to create an entertainment enviroment around this
So focusing and rejecting the non-targeted. Pre qualify by clearly givin the option to opt out, and give the gold to whom deserve it
