Modify a non Gmail account setting in Gmail

Hello, looking for some help in an area of Gmail I have not used before.

I have built a website for a client of which he is very happy. now, I have created his emails addresses on my hosting server and the emails have come flooding in. I need to instruct him how to set this up on his Gmail account.

Now, i have tried to show him but his email layout looks a lot older than mine (even though it's web based)

1. his primary email is set up in gmail as bob@hisdomain.com (not gmail)

2. there is no edit info button next to the email under the "account and imports tab" (his tab just says accounts). but also says verify (if he verifies will the "edit" tab appear?

Any suggestions how to change the password and pop3 settings.

Thanks

Not sure if this can be done. I know you can read gmail messages on a pop3 account, you can get instructions at google support.

Why not just set up his email on his own account instead of yours.

You could also get you client a solution like mailbird or thunderbird, or even use outlook if your client uses microsoft office

What exactly are you trying to do?

You set up an email address for his site and you now want email that is coming to it to go to his gmail account?
