How to email promote IM affiliates products, without "reviewing" them?

Hello, fellow Warriors!

I have an email list in the IM niche.

I often promote affiliate products to people on the list.

By FAR, the most profitable method has been to do an honest, in depth review of the product (video walk-through as well), and offer people bonuses for buying through my affiliate link.

Here's the problem: Doing these reviews and coming up with bonuses require enormous amounts of time and energy from me - to the point where I can't focus on other important parts of my business (creating products for example). So, this is an opportunity cost issue.

I have been thinking of hiring someone to do these reviews, and I may do so (finding someone with the complete skill set will likely be an adventure in itself, but oh well).

But other than that, can you think of another way to promote such affiliate products, in a way that generates sales and builds goodwill with the list, without requiring 8-10 hours to do it?

Thanks in advance!

requiring 8-10 hours to do it

What is the $$ relationship between the two quotes above? How much do you PROFIT from spending one full day preparing/sending an email review/video to your list? That is how you determine if 'it's worth it'.

Do you repurpose that information? If not, why not? The same review or a brief rewrite of it can be on your site/blog - same for the videos.

    Thanks for the reply, Kay!

The answer to the question "How much money do I make every time I spend 8-10 hours reviewing an affiliate product" is "Less than what I make spending the same time creating my own products."

It's an opportunity cost dilemma. I need to spend my time and energy at what makes the most sense (and money).

And yes, I do re-purpose the reviews and post them on a blog.

One idea I have is to hire someone who can create very short special reports that offer value and also presell my own products and "me". Those will be the "bonuses."

The same person can email people about the new affiliate offer, using some guidelines I give them. For example "mention the problem the product solves", "explain what the product does without hype", "mention the bonus."

    Thanks!
