Is there anywhere i can download pre-written emails for a drip campaign?

I hope this is the right section to post this.

My situation is, I have a website with some post which are getting some pretty good organic traffic.

Withing the posts i offer a lead magnet which is to download an ebook if they submit their email address.

When they sign up i want to send over a drip email campaign with 5 - 8 emails over a few weeks and on the last 2 emails try and convert them to sign up to one of my online courses.

I am not vert good at writing emails that convert so i was thinking maybe someone has already done this so i can just import it into my mailing system then edit it with my websites details.

I read that you should first do a welcome, then bring up objections, offer advice then push the sale?

Is this correct?

Im trying to find a place which has this information.

  • My suggestion would be to either write the emails yourself, hire a copywriter to write them for you, or if you do find some prewritten emails, rewrite them using your own voice.

You want the emails that your potential customer receives to be authentic and speak to the language of your customer.

That means that you must also know who your ideal customer is and what type of verbiage they use.

Using cookie cutter email sequences can get you some results, but you definitely wan to talk to your ideal customer using your own voice.

If you want to get better at writing emails and structuring an email series properly, get a copy of Russell Brunson's free Dotcom Secrets book.

It will definitely put on the right path to getting everything set up correctly.

I'd recommend writing the emails yourself so they speak in your voice. You've got the sequence right, now you just need the content.

Write the emails like you're writing to a friend. Don't do a hard sell until the last email. You can do soft sells, like adding an affiliate link in the P.S. of an email. Just don't use one in every email.

Yeah, it can be a pain writing your own emails. After you write them, leave them as drafts and wait a day before doing anything else with them. Then re-read them. Put yourself in your subscribers' shoes and see of the emails are too salesy or too pushy. Be honest. If you feel that they are, then don't leave them as is for expediency. Edit them and change the tone of them.

You can also use this re-reading session to correct spelling and grammatical mistakes that you missed the first time round.

Remember that you can edit your emails at any time to tweak and tune them. Existing subscribers won't get your revised emails (unless you mail them out again), but new subscribers will.

Pay attention to the open rates and click rates for your emails. Those with low open rates need better subject lines, ones that make people curious enough to open them.

Click rates is where the action happens. These are almost always a fraction of the open rates. But if you're getting very, very low click rates, you need to take another look at your Call To Action and improve it.

You can still send emails to your subscribers after the initial email series has finished. It's best to email people as often as possible (preferably every day) so they don't forget who you are.

Always try to give as much value as possible, so not every email should be a sales pitch. Some should be pure information or training.

You don't say what niche you're in. Finding emails to use is pretty simple. Sign up to some newsletters in your niche and look at the types of email they send out. Then rewrite them in your own words. Don't be lazy and just copy the emails verbatim.

If you are in the internet marketing, affiliate marketing or make money online niches, then you can buy pre-written emails to get you started. Look for "Affiliate Swipe Email Profits" on WarriorPlus. I don't vouch for these as I've never used them. I'm merely pointing out that they exist.

Thanks for the feedback. I will take a look at those two suggestions.

I find it really hard to write emails that convert on subscribers.

If you receive good traffic and want to convert them into leads and email list, my advice is to not use some prewritten follow ups. Your list is your biggest asset, so don't treat them like this, they deserve best quality and informative follow ups. Maybe you can find some high quality prewritten content, but dont expect to see good results. You can hire some copywritter who will writte unique content for your list so nobody will use them ,only you, this way is good to go, but please do not search some follow ups which hundreds are using.

  • It's not your emails that are the problem. If the traffic is targeted. The offer is targeted. And you genuinely want to help people, and that comes across loud and clear in your marketing, then even a personality driven "average" email will convert better than any pre-written emails written by an email copywriter.

I have always found the most effective email follow up to be a sequence that includes my story, my results, social proof, value based content, scarcity/urgency.

Remember to just be yourself, be transparent, and give them information that you would think is awesome if you were in their shoes. Then give them an offer that is irresistible.
