Why some emails of businesses and companies can't be verified?

Hi,

A company has provided me with a list of their potential clients which they are companies as well (B2B).

Most of the emails of these prospects are like:

info@somethting
sales@something
support@...
contact@...
etc..

The problem is when I use email validation tools, it say that most of these emails are exist but can't be verified.

Some tools give me message like thise:

"These email exist and able to receive messages but due to a domain-wide setting, it is not possible to determine a true validity of such email, so we mark them as Unverifiable. Such emails are also known as "catch-all'" or "accept-all" emails. "

Can anyone explain this issue?

Any suggestions on how to solve this?

Best Regards

  • They do not, usually, belong to one person.

They are used by several members of the company, sometimes dozens, and when one quits or gets fired, their replacement takes over.

So, when you have 4 or 14 people using an email address, and who is the person you're dealing with?

  • Many people use these types of email addresses as catchall addresses. I've done this where anything@mydomain.com would go to whatever the default is such as webmaster or info or sales email box.

So, mark@mydomain.com would go there if there wasn't a specific account named mark, but so would abs@mydomain.com, 121444444445566@mydomain.com, or anything else without a specific account.

  • It is because the emails might be spam or the information would have not be uploaded.
