Social Media Today reports that Facebook just gave users another management platform, the purpose of which is to make it simpler for small businesses to manage both their Insta and Facebook activity from one place. It's called Facebook Business Suite.

The new Business Suite interface combines all your Instagram and Facebook Page profile options in one space. This upgrade is available on both desktop and a new mobile app. With the new feature, you'll be able to save time posting across both platforms and then manage those posts from one location rather than having to hop around repeatedly between two. That should make communicating with visitors more efficient. You'll also be able to find all messages and notifications in that new location - although, you could already do that via Pages Manager. Not only that, but you'll be able to view performance data for posts across both platforms yep, you've guessed it - in the single new location.

This is the scheduling layout on the new system:

The analytics tab seems to be a great addition that will save marketers lots of time. You'll be able to get a far more accurate, instant overview of performance across the two platforms. The author says this function is better for analyzing content other than video when compared to the options within Creator Studio:

Apparently, Facebook also plans to integrate WhatsApp messaging into the new app soon. The author says how helpful this turns out to be for you will depend on what you're trying to achieve. It seems inevitable that if nothing else, however, this combination will save marketers some time and effort during their workday.

  • This seems really interesting, and I think such type of data analysis will help lots of marketers in saving time and improving there campaigns.
  • This looks good! I hope it helps with managing both platforms easier.
  • The new Facebook suite also has some tools that are integrated which really help the developer. I was particular excited about the developer portion of the Business Suite because it has on their some very powerful tools to have marketers and ecommerce owners to leverage the platform in a unique way. You should certainly look into it.

    • I know about that. That is correct.
  • Nice. Seems like a time-saver ... especially in terms of scheduling IG posts on mobile (versus the old Creator Studio desktop page)
  • Cue the song, "It's business time" from Flight of the Concords
