Mailchimp (or similar apps) and wordpress

Hi,

I am working in my WP website now and i want to know: where apps like mailchimp stored the emails of suscribers??

They store in the mailchimp account, or they also store in the WP database??

    They store it in Mailchimp. But you can export it whenever you need to.

    You can find and manage your email list under the Audience section of your Mailchimp account. You can export from there as well.

    I dont think wordpress save any types of details of users in database ...... Only if user register for comment or other activities at wordpress sites.

    So only registration data can see in database otherwise if someone contact from contact page then wordpress shoot email with details and same with mailchimp ..... wordpress use mailchimp api to store subscriber details in mailchimp database.

    You should check out Klaviyo, we used to use Mailchimp and now we are migrating to Klaviyo instead.
