Are there any advantages in building an email list via Co-Registration, and what are the disadvantages, if any?

The advantage is you do not pay upfront for leads

The disadvantage, you pay upwards of 50% of your commissions to lead supplier for life of lead

A bar of iron cost $5. Made into horseshoes, it's worth $12. Made into needles, it's worth $3500. Made into balance springs for watches, it's worth $300,000. Your value is determined by what you are able to make of yourself

    The main advantages are:

    1. You build a network
    2. You reach more people in a similar niche

    1. Leads might be cold
    2. You have to do the data hygiene and verification yourself
    3. You can't measure your Return on Investment before building an email list through co-registration.

Alternatively, you can get a Data License and use an already engaged list of leads in your niche. If your business operates in the USA, you can get Data License through PMG360. But if you operate outside the USA, you should adhere to the GDPR rules and your job becomes a little bit difficult. You can check out Soar or other agencies who might provide such services in Europe.
