What are your favorite apps to integrate with your autoresponder?

Are you more focused on lead generation? CRM? Updating? Segmenting?

Would love to get your experiences.

I'm really enjoying integrating Trello and Calendly with various campaigns.

  • Trello integration for the hiring process has been great.

    I've got multiple campaigns: interview - 2nd interview - hired - no-show

When someone schedules an interview, they are added to my Trello board.
This automatically subscribes them to a "now hiring" campaign that gives them an overview of the system, reminds them of our interview time, etc...

When we hire them, their card is dragged over to the "hired" list and this automatically removes them from our "now hiring" campaign to a campaign dedicated to getting them set up for a required study course.

If they no-show the interview, the card is moved to no-show which moves them in to a campaign that follows up, allowing them to reschedule.

There are more but these are the broad strokes and we're loving it!

Trello is great! It's very intuitive and easy to use, plus you can share your board to people outside your org.

    • Agreed. A couple of my team members are sharing Trello and it's working very well for us as we manage multiple growing lists at various stages of contact. Using Zapier saves us a LOT of time moving contacts from one category to the next in our TrafficWave accounts.
  • How would your average email marketer here on Warrior Forum find Trello useful?

    • That would depend on how they are using Trello. And that would be determined by their own individual goals and preferences. I'm not sure Trello would be necessary for the "average email marketer" but if you are using Trello to track people through various stages in a process, it comes in very handy.

In our case, we need to track various cards (people) based on where they are in our processes for appropriate followup.

The most common use for this scenario, based on our experience, is that cards enter the system as a first point of contact requesting an interview. From there, they can be moved to a 2nd Interview column, a Hired column, a Study Course column, an Onboarded column, or a No Go column.

Moving a card from one column to the next changes the campaign they are subscribed to so that they are receiving information relevant to where they are in their process.

Moving the card in Trello automagically moves them to the appropriate TrafficWave campaign. BIG time saver for us.
  • For my lead generation agency, Zapier works very well for us with automating our clients accounts with our services. Win-Win for all!

  • I am focusing on lead generation. Connectleads is a cloud-based software that integrates your Facebook™ ad account and autoresponders or funnels to add new subscribers to your email lists - automatically.

    • I was using Google Sheets a LOT more in the beginning. Now, by integrating directly with CRM's, shopping carts, etc... we have effectively removed Google Sheets from our workflow.

But ... there are times when we will use it to run large scale updates on our lists.
  • We don't use anything at the moment!
