Server IP Address Blacklisted - Please Help...

I'm currently learning about cold emailing. I started researching the topic after discovering that my server IP was blacklisted. This is a relatively new server so I'm not sure how this happened.

The email accounts associated with the server have never been used to send any emails, so why would I be showing up on a blacklist? Could the server IP have been blacklisted before it was assigned to me?

According to MX Tool Box I'm blacklisted on the following list: UCEPROTECTL2.

How exactly do I fix this problem? I did try talking with my hosting provider but they didn't really have much to tell me.

Really suggest you contact your ISP about it.

All sorted. My hosting provider got rid of the three spam accounts responsible for the blacklist. My IP/subnet should be removed from the blacklist in a few days.

UCE is unfortunately, a problematic listing service. They've been this way for years.

I just checked and the blacklist is now lifted. Hopefully it doesn't hurt my site rankings. I have a few of my sites going through Cloudflare and they didn't end up on the blacklist.

Hi - it shouldn't. For the most part, UCE is a defunct RBL. They list lots of things in error as well as for non-malicious things such as DNS misconfigurations as well, which really isn't helpful.
