Does anyone know about address.com
I am working a new cold list of about 250k people - I was initially pretty stoked to see an EXCELLENT click rate on the opens from my first mailing but looking closer, almost all of the clicks are coming from address.com.
The domain itself redirects to the whitepages, and the only hit I can find for the company is a Crunchbase page that describes them as "Address.com is a company that specializes in enterprise and identity verification solutions"...
I am wondering if this domain is for spam reconnaissance? What gives me pause is that there are over 1000 of them on a list of 250k which is a pretty high incidence rate for spam traps - you would never see that many gnail.com emails or similar.
Anyone run into this before?
