How do you plan your autoresponder days?

What do you think is the best autoresponder sending strategy? I trigger my autoresponders once in 5 days. Is this gap too much? I have come across several marketers who trigger them once every two days. Too many autoresponders could be detrimental to list building process I thought.

    I set up my autoresponders to run sequences. It goes like this.

    1. find offer
    2. create 3 to 4 email sequence.
    3. set emails to go daily
    4. repeat

    I will leave a day between sequences so it would be 3 to 4 emails then a day off then 3 to 4 emails etc.

    usually after the 3rd offer sequence I am moving openers/clickers to another list and continue to send offers while adding new prospects to my original sequence and removing the non opener/clickers.

    If an offer seems to perform better than the others I will move that to be the first or second offer in my rotation of offers

    I dont give to many importance to it . I just try to send an email each day .I also try to add as many value as i can in my email
