Great News! If you sell through Amazon and also use Email marketing...

I don't sell products through Amazon, but I do email marketing, and this article caught my attention...


Apparently, up until now, if you sold products through Amazon you could only email customers who "followed" your brand on the platform.

But thanks to seller feedback, Amazon will soon open up a new email marketing avenue to help you better engage with your customers, and increase the lifetime value of your customer base.

It looks like this feature will roll out in early 2023, which isn't too far off...

    Unfortunately we can not view the article right now as there seems to have been some sort of breach at inc.com

    With that said. Many sellers do use email marketing although it is usually directed to their website then linked to products they sell on amazon, and if I remember correctly you can use your affiliate link which would give you commissions on other products your visitor might purchase.

    I did find a press release about this and looks to me like it might be an internal tool which, if you are a large seller, might be worth it. Will have to wait and see what it looks like
