How to make a Password-protected WP page linked to Email list
I wish to use an email list manager to promote my Kindle books / eBooks. I haven't decided which one yet.
However, I want to be able to grant access to a protected web page to anyone on my email list, so they can access content that is only available to email subscribers.
Ideally, I would like each user to have their own unique log-in, so I could track who visits the page. This could just be their email address if passwords proved tricky from a technical standpoint.
... Obviously, if I didn't want to do this (track each person), I could just set up a generic username and password, and anyone on my email list could receive this info at the bottom of every email I sent out. If I can't generate unique logins then I expect this is what I'll resort to.
For the Email Service, I am not sure which service to choose, as there are many (Kartra, ClickFunnels, Mailchimp, Aweber, etc).
I am aware that BookFunnel is popular with Kindle book authors.
Ideally my website would be Wordpress, because I know how to build these. I can make a page secure with password protection required, it's just the integration with an email list where I need a bit of guidance.
If Wordpress won't do it, and I have to use the Funnel platform (ClickFunnels, BookFunnel, Kartra, etc) to generate all my web pages (incl. the secure content page), then I guess I'll have to do it this way instead.
Any feedback would be most welcome. Thank you.
