What would email marketing look like 25 years later? Fully automated? Or will it be gone forever?

Chime in.

I think email marketing will still be around in 25 years, but it will be very different from what it is today. It will be more personalized, interactive, and integrated with other marketing channels.

I imagine that email marketing in 25 years will be more like having a conversation with each individual subscriber, rather than just sending out mass emails. It will be tailored to their interests and needs, and it will be easy for them to engage with.

I think this is a good thing, because it means that email marketing will be more effective than ever before. Businesses will be able to use it to build stronger relationships with their customers and drive more sales.

Exactly. That's what applications like Remotask are doing. We are already here... Pointing to that route very much..

I am already feeling the effect of changes within the last 12 years. I used to be very active between 2007 to 2015, and when I came back, the tools that we used are already extinct. You can't use multiple accounts anymore, among many other things.

I doubt that the world itself will remain the same for the next 25 years, not just email.

Email marketing will not be gone unless we find a better way to relay specific information, for example, how vipers basically stopped existing because of cell phones. However, the tools and the way they're used will continue to evolve, pushing marketers to follow best practices, where personalization and opt-in from the users will become very important parts of being successful.

I think after some time they will also introduce some kind of bot to manage our emails and stuff so there would be no point for email marketing then!

In 25 years, if I am still alive, then I suspect that I will continue to delete those spam emails and unsubscribe to others that I never signed up to.
