Do you guys still think email lists are the best asset in 2026?

Quick question.

I'm seeing people push social traffic hard (tiktok, yt shorts, reels, etc) but it seems like everyone still says email is king.

Do you all still think building a list is the best long term play, or are things shifting?

    Yes, I still think email lists are one of the best digital assets in 2026. The main reason is ownership. Social platforms can change algorithms anytime, but your email list is something you control.
    Billions of people still use email daily, and usage keeps growing.Email traffic converts better than many other channels because subscribers already trust you.
