EMAIL MARKETING

Hello Everyone

In this new forum we will talk everything email- one of the most powerful online marketing techniques, and something that should be a core competency for every Internet business.

We will cover in here topics including, but not limited to:
* Building distribution lists
* Maximizing deliverability and use of email service providers
* Improving open & click through rates,
* Autoresponders, transactional emails, email triggers, etc.

I look forward to the discussion in this very important area and will be seeding the forum with some great resources.

This is a great idea.

It is nice to see some parts of the forum deleted and something new brought up that will help a lot of warrior marketers get all the education they can to become more successful with email marketing.

I like the idea of this sub-forum and I will keep an eye on it, and add value where I see fit.

One thing I didn't see in your list of topics:

Sales and ROI.

Everyone is focused on open rates and click throughs.

But those metrics are irrelevant without sales, dollars, profits and return on investment.

You know, for years it has boggled my mind why this forum.. the #1 IM forum in the world, failed to have an email marketing section.. the #1 IM medium for advertising. Finally it's here.

The guys at Freelancer have truly made some excellent changes so far (I even love the newsletters they've been sending out.. another fail on 'old' WF's part).

Keep up the good work. Love this!

Lawfull e-mail campaign but without permission If you send e-mails fully according to the laws, but without asking the readers, is there any way to be described as a spammer? Will have the affiliate company a problem with it if you are not using it's name or the names of it's merchants? If so, how could be find you? Will have the hosting company any problem with it??
