I have a sales funnel that starts at less then $10 and goes up to 5-figures.
When structuring my new autoresponder series I'm wondering at what point is it ok (if it's ok?) to introduce the idea of offering my next higher priced product to the customer?
Option as I see it are when hammering away at the subscriber with the entry level product over a 7 to 14 day time period are:
1) Introduce the idea of the upsell to in the MIDDLE of the email series
2) Introduce the idea of the upsell LATE in the email series
3) Don't introduce the idea at all and only try to get the sale of that under $10 price
The third option doesn't make sense to me because if after 7 to 14 emails they still haven't bought the lowest priced item (which has very limited bells and whistles) then by all means they should be made aware of what other products are available to them to buy.
So what say you?
