    Hi,

I have a huge email database. And I just registered to CB for an offer that I think will really work with my email database.

However, I'm stumped on who/what to use to send out this email offer and also what is the sender email address I need to use.

This will be my first time, so please help.
How I acquired the database? These were all submitted on my landing pages as leads who were looking for loans in an Asian country.

Didn't you send them even once after they opted in to your list from your LP?

Yes, they have been communicated with previously through employees email addresses. However, never sent the offers to them before. And can't use previous employee email address.

So that's why I'm just left with a huge db.

    GetResponse/AWeber I see two problems:

    a) They will say why am I sending offer B if I received these optins for offer A
    b) They won't send the email from my Gmail address.

How would I pass these issues?

What niche are you using Getsubscribers for? I tried this in IM years back it sucked!

I am using it in the IM niche. It is incredibly slow and I think you need a few campaigns running at the same time to get a decent amount of daily subscribers. The quality seems OK so far, it looks like a set and forget type strategy as you already know you are guaranteed a set amount of subscribers (eventually!)

I've personally used both Aweber and Getresponse. At this point I actually prefer Getresponse as they've got good support, and I've seen good results from them. Also, they're a well established company, and offer all the features I need.

You really want to go with one of the big players as they have better deliverability. Although it may be tempting to use a free or very low cost service, I wouldn't really recommend that.

I've actually tried a few services like this and found them lacking. For anyone that's serious about their business, it's definitely worth paying more to make sure most of your messages stay out of subscribers spam folders.

I've tried many SAAS based services and Mailchimp has been by far the best. I've never used on-premise but then again, unless you're building out your own email infrastructure there's not much reason to.

    Get response for me.

I was with Aweber cos almost everyone quote them as if they're the defacto. but in 3 years of using them, never really like the interface and price. I also had problem with their downtime (I discovered this after trying to click on other marketers' optin links that did not work) Imagine how much impact on CTR?

GR was a refreshing change for me.

I have used both Aweber and GetResponse. I started with Aweber then switched over to GetResponse. If I could do it all over again I would have stuck with Aweber, my emails hit the inbox no problem with Aweber, but with GetResponse they seem to have trouble hitting the inbox sometimes.

Mailchimp is best email marketing software currently available. And the best thing is it is free. You can create an account and use it with up to 2,000 subscribers and 12,000 email a month for absolutely free. Beyond that, you will have to pay for the email.

You could try something like IMSC Rapidmailer or Sendy as a self hosted autoresponder.

Sendy allows you to use Amazon SES to deliver emails and Rapidmailer (wp plugin) allows you to use a variety of smtp providers including Amazon SES and Mandrill as well as using your own server to send emails.

    Auto Responder.
There are several well-known Email Auto mail responders, including Aweber, iContact and Get Response and MailChimp . They are used to automate email distribution Lists for mass email send outs, and to send a series of pre-sequenced, pre-written email send outs and sales funnels.

Yes it can - depending on how big your List is, and how you want to use your list to market your website online. If you only want to start building your List of Subscribers by designing and installing a Subscribe By Email Optin Form on your blog, send Welcome emails, and send out weekly newsletters to your trusty band of fans, then a Free Email system is fine. And MailChimp's Forever Free account will make this very easy to do. The Free option is almost fully automated, and makes managing your Subscriber List a breeze.

Hi- I think aweber is good. One thing I try to do is see what successful email marketers use and that seems to be aweber and getresponse from my research.

They also have good support and there pricing is about the same.

I use aweber and all of these autotesponders require that you give them a physical address by law. Because I didn't want to plaster my home's address all over the internet, I rent a PO Bx through UPS.

    Good Luck- Scott
