    Provide value first.
If anyone joins your list because you provide value in everything you send them (articles, for example), there's a great chance that they'll be buying your products or services.

This just hit me like a ton of bricks yesterday. I'm a newbie but I'm signed up with plrassassain and didn't really understand the power of PLR. Now that things finally clicked for me, I'm creating my own packages of videos and information and offering them for free or extremely cheap.

If you're able to find something well worth a person's time instead of a 1 page free report, I'm sure people will appreciate it and being subscribing

My best tips? I offer different kind of incentives to my visitors depending on the niche of my blog and then when they give their email to my by subscribing then i try to send them worthy articles and products for 2-3 weeks and then finally i send affiliate links and mostly people buy from the links. I have less open rate though.

Use the AIDA model I wrote about earlier on.

Aware - get the readers aware of a product
Interest - Get them interested in how the product can help them
Desire - Get the readers to really want the product (emotional value)
Action - The call to action that lets the reader to buy.

Its like being in a relationship, you need to take care of your subscribers.

      That's exactly what i use.

Works like a charm if you want to make a lot of sales. You have to find a balance between providing value and selling, if you can do that and become an instant authority then you're well on your way to build a very profitable list.

        Here's two quickies...

        1. Don't pee on peoples' shoes and tell them it's raining. There's power in honesty and respect.

        2. Always try to structure your offers in such a way that both of you come away feeling like you got the long end of the stick.

Provide some type of value either in the form of a video or a blog post. Help them with a pressing question they might have without giving away the farm and then at the end of whatever content you deliver do a soft pitch for a product.

This is the best way to build a relationship, while still promoting.

    I'm a mouthy chick so I offer 6 tips.

    (i) Understand the basics really clearly before you start, because if you set off in the wrong direction, it doesn't matter how much "action" you take: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post6123982

(ii) Don't be so busy sending offers that you miss the chance to build a trust-based relationship: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post5300985

(iii) Don't imagine that the biggest list and the highest-income-producing list are going to be the same thing: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7939758

(iv) Most things affecting open-rates relate to what happens before, while and immediately after people opt in: you don't get a second chance to create a first impression

    (v) Don't use "broadcasts" if you don't absolutely have to: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7301227

(vi) Don't believe all the nonsense (I'm being polite!) the "gurus" preach (half of them are clueless and there isn't always an easy way of knowing which half): http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post8661178

    1. Pick an evergreen niche/market filled with people who have money to spend

    2. Create a free offer and get their email in exchange for it (use a email marketing service and a squeeze page for this)

    3. Write out 7 emails in the autoresponder and queue it in the email marketing service

    4. drive traffic to your squeeze page using free and paid methods.

    Hope this helps
