have you used PTC site to build your list?

Have you used PTC advertising to drive traffic to your squeeze page to build your list, how is it working for you, do you use it alot?

    Hi,
    I have used PTC a fair bit.
    Make sure to target your squeeze page correctly, to the type of person who hang out at those types of sites.
    They are clicking on ads to make sometimes $0.005 or less! So are probably looking for ways to make better money

        Yeah, there is that point of view also.
        I know people who recruit into biz ops using PTC ads, and have great success.

        You could use them to build your list and then do ad swaps

          That is what I was planing, build part of the list using PTC and then ad swaps.

          and If using video on the squeeze, would it best to have the video under 60sec or 30sec long so all the info gets trough while they wait for next page to click on?

        Yes.

        There's also the chance that many of them don't really speak much English and don't have a credit-card (though I suppose they probably have a PayPal account or something equivalent, to be paid for their clicks by the PTC service?).

        Absolutely no offense to anyone who's tried PTC sites as a way of earning $1, but people clicking very briefly on hundreds/thousands of different sites to earn $1 are not subscribers I'd want on any of my own lists.

        PTC sites like Clixsense pays for clicking on ads.
        But if i were you i would try Amazon Mechanical Turk or Fiverr.

      I used to participate with ptc sites a few years ago.
      Until i saw how many scams and bots they have there.
      Now i have a totally different business in the IM/MMO niche,
      and recently ive tried to use ptc traffic to my squeeze page.
      This traffic is total rubbish i got no signups on a page that converts 50% with solos.
      Besides you have there many underage kids clicking ads.
      And those people are already trained to ignore ads.
      They just click it to earn cents, c'mon this cant be good

    I've never paid to build my list. I focused on creating good content that I made sure was shared socially. Over time my list grew with valuable members. I shared my content within groups that I already had a presence in so they knew who I was. Traffic exploded and so did my list haha.

      I've done this once...and I built a BIG list. However...

      I wouldn't say it was a list with a whole lot of quality. My free offer was geared specifically towards users of the PTC site (something like "How To Make $XXX Using PTC" or similar).

      Although I built a large list, the quality just wasn't there, and I won't try it again.
