What are the best email subscribe plugins?

I am looking for an email subscribe plugin for wordpress that offers my e-book on sign-up. I don't want to spend too much, what are the best ones for a low price? Any comment would help, thanks!

Do you need stable WEBHOSTING? https://hpthost.com HEY folks, for a limited time get the first month of service For only $0.01 That's 1 cents. At checkout use coupon code 1cent. This is only for web hosting, and only applies to the monthly services.

Yea but it's 19$ a month after that, kinda steep for someone who hardly makes any money from their website.

There are cheaper alternatives if you search the forum. But most of the successful marketers use AWeber or GetReponse.

I use mailchimp and found a CSS template and edited it. It wasn't really that hard.

I thought the original thread was about plugins!
What exactly do you want the plugin to do? Build a squeeze page?

BTW... I've had Aweber for over four years and it's very good. And their support is fantastic!

This is the best email subscribe plugin, for the cheapest price, by far:

    SumoMe

    Price = Free

Head over to "Add Plugin" in Wordpress and search for SumoMe. Install it straight from there.

SumoMe provides a bunch of free apps for your website to build your email list, share your content, and analyze your visitors. They offer paid one's as well, but to build your list, their free ones are more than enough.

List Builder: Displays a pop up form after a predetermined (customizable) number of seconds. Lately, this thing has been converting at around 15% for me. It's awesome, and it fully integrates with your email provider.

Smart Bar: Displays a bar at the top of the page with some text and an opt-in box.

Scroll Box: An opt-in box that pops up when the user scrolls a certain percentage down the page. Great for the end of your articles.

Leads (paid): Let's you install "content upgrades". These allow you to collect email address from within your articles and pages.

You would then combine SumoMe with a free email provider, like Mailchimp, and set it up so Mailchimp automatically sends your free eBook to people who give you their email address.

I couldn't recommend this enough. Especially because it's all free except for the Leads app (which isn't necessary).

Hope this helps you out. If you need me to clarify anything, or further explain how to set up your Mailchimp account to automatically send out your eBook, feel free to let me know.
