    You can be quite sure that they're two very different things, anyway: the fastest will never be the best, and of course there are good and reliable reasons for that.

    That's partly because one parameter relates to quantity, and the other only to quality.

    There are already countless threads - including some very recent ones - discussing exactly this question. The search function if your friend (but only if you use it).

    Getting Solo ads from lists with the same interests.

    Other then that probably the next step would be Facebook ads.

      Traffic comes from everywhere and turning these leads into a subscriber will need a bribe or lead magnet to make them give their email in exchange for what free value you are offering.

      If you have a system setup, all you need is that squeezepage with your free offer in a banner form, in a solo ad, in your blog, in a wso etc.

      But having both organic and free ways like blog, youtube facebook etc added with facebook ppc, solo ads and wso will get you the leads your business needs to grow.

      Yes that's true, but you can't forget the testing phase in order not to lose too much money when you're paying for traffic.

      Once you have tested your funnel and you can make it profitable you can basically build your list for free, as the offer you promote will pay for the advertising fee.

      So just make sure to test first, and then scale your budget, that's the best way to build a big list fast.

        Agree... Test, test, test!!! And this is why LeadPages made the list because it has a super-simple and effective A/B split test system built in and their landing page designs have already proven to convert.

        But another thing to keep in mind is 1) what is the lifetime value of a subscriber and 2) what is the lifetime value of a customer for you.

        We 'lose money' on some campaigns up front, happily (although we are continuing to test to get them profitable from the OTO) because we know the lifetime value of our subscribers and customers... Kind of a long term vision move.

      This is a really interesting thread and it's great to know that I have the above working for me. The only thing I don't have out of these resources is the Facebook PPC.

      I have to check out some of these strategies that everyone has mentioned though. Keep up with the flow of great replies everyone!!!!

    Fastest way would be Paid Traffic like Facebook Ads, 7search. Create an landing page to capture leads and ad on FB or 7search

    First I'd recommend Facebook's ad platform, second Solo ads, third blogging.

    Also I'd recommend a lead magnet that is free and solves the problems of your desired/target audience.

    If you are already well known on one or more Facebook or Google+ groups, you might ask members there to hop off of Facebook to subscribe to your list. You will also want to ask your current fans on Facebook (and Twitter followers) to join your email list as much of what you are posting on Facebook isn't even showing up in their feed.
