hey everyone! really need some advice please

I'm brand new to marketing and am learning the ropes. I'm hoping to start a blog but am worried about the costs involved until i can start making some money. I'm getting confused as to...

1. which email provider is best to use
2. the best autoresponders i can get preferably free

i understand i will need a paid autoresponder to get the best service but im trying to cut down on costs until i can afford the extra monthly costs

any help will be very much appreciated

I'm new to it as well. But I have fallin in love.

The 1st and current autoresponder campaign with GetResponse has been pretty successful compared to the website just sitting there.

We did it for a course at a convention and had about 100 people sign up for the autoresponder (It's a niche of a niche of a niche) and we can attribute about 20 sales to the autoresponder.($350 each, 12 additions to the live course and 8 that couldn't make it bought an internet course)

The convention is over and we still have contact with them so gunning for some after sales soon.

Initially it took me to long to set it up cause so much else going on. The delay was me getting the materials together and landing pages set up. The GetResponse program is super easy to work in, Aweber too.

With GetResponse the 1st month free ATM and after that it is $19.95 a month for 1,000 or less contacts.

I would recommend getting so many emails (10 Emails worth I think), landing pages, links all that together and basically created before you sign up. Then just plop and drop pretty much.

The main reason I chose GetResponse over Aweber was there are over 100 stock photos to use in the Emails and newsletters. Other than that I couldn't tell much difference, but I'm new to it.

Aweber has emailed me, called and even sent a snail mail to see if I had any questions so they seem to be super as well.

I don't know about the free ones but both GetResponse and Aweber set a high bar.

I love making the Emails and sending them and watching for sales. Love it. Wish there was more time for it. I could do it all day. It's a lot like fishing.

    Good luck

Does Aweber integrate with services like MailChimp or would you need to migrate all of your contacts to Aweber?

GetResponse and Aweber and both very widely recommended here, both very good and very professional, and neither is at all expensive.

Don't touch a free autoresponder. Even if you're trying to save money. It's probably better to start off without one than to try that. This post explains why, in detail: http://www.warriorforum.com/email-ma...ml#post9320870

    Update to my earlier reply.

Aweber offers a 3000 image stock photo gallery. They did not a short time ago.

An autoresponder is an essential tool, as is a domain name and hosting. Not something to scrimp on. Go with an established brand, as suggested above. The results you'll gain from increased delivery rates and service alone will far outweigh the minor costs involved.

I couldn't agree more. I was in the same position that you were originally trying to cut costs, but after I got my trial of Aweber, I realized just how necessary it was. The monthly fees are as much as a couple of coffee's from Starbucks, not bad at all when you consider how much money your list can make you in the long run

Autoresponder is critical, but the well-known ones such as Aweber and GetResponse don't seem to differ too much from one another. I have both of these autoresponders and in terms of functions they are not all that different, but, then again, I don't do anything fancy with my lists. My opinion is choose one, sign up for it and start your online business.

When i was starting out i used mailchimp. Its free before for the first 500 leads then goes paid afterwards.

What i did was use mailchimp at first then transferred all leads when I was about to hit 500 to aweber. That was before. Now Im using both mailchimp and aweber for 2 different profiles/sites.
