Qustions about List building - Affiliate Offers

Hello,

I'm going to build email list while promoting clickbank products.
Traffic>Squeeze page>CB offer
I have read that I should offer free ebook on squeeze but is it really necessary because I can say "Enter email address to get instant access to 'product' "

E.g I get 1000 subscribers and only 10 of them buy clickbank product, how can I forward these 10 people to "buyer list" in Aweber? I can't really see which email has purchased product.

I'll promote product with medium size audience and it will be niche specific so what is the best idea to market them later?

Best regards,
locmanis

I'm not sure of how you can get them onto your "buyers" list when you're selling CB products. Because you'd usually do it by forwarding them to your "buyer" opt in page after the purchase, but you don't have control over that with CB products.

The only thing that I can think of, which is a bit long winded is:

Offer them a bonus of they make a CB purchase. And then get them to email you, requesting their bonus after they make a purchase. But you'll lose a lot of people that way.

The only thing I can add to this is with clickbank you can use the analytics and transaction data to see the names of the buyers and check your list to match names up.

Might not work in all cases but i have done it before.

Segment the buyers names to be able to email just the specific groups of people.

Hope that helps some... worked for me as a workaround.

It will be difficult to track because sometimes, people have different email addresses and you won't be able to find them.

Something I did in the past was sending an email to my list saying something like thank you for those who purchased the product ABC, send me your receipt and I'll send you an exclusive bonus.

Another thing I did was offering email coaching as a bonus even before people buy. This one made me thousands when I was in my beginning with affiliate marketing, plus they like you, trust you and you'll add them on your buyers list.

      That's all I have.

      Take care,
      Franck

If you're promoting CB products, its really hard to just have a 'buyers' list. Even if you had such list, it doesn't guarantee that they will buy again. Just focus on a Niche targeted list, and cultivate that list based on that niche. But don't over email them. People don't like to be bothered who don't know you personally.

Thanks Michael for method but it takes time so I think I can build only one list whatever if they have purchased my first promoted offer or not.

    Hi,

You don't necessarily need to give a free ebook, but saying "get this product now" won't really work as well.

What you would want to do is to go through the sales page or sales video of the CB product and see if it teaches something and advertise that on your squeeze page." Learn whatever about something in this free report/presentation. "

    Another question.
Let's say I'm going to build email list next 60 days and everyday I get few subscribers and then I send them 2 emails to build trust but next days I'll have new subscribers and I have to send again these email but problem is my first subscribers will receive same email again. Is there any option in Aweber to prevent this?

There's an option in every proper autoresponder (including Aweber) to prevent this.

The way autoresponders work is that each subscriber gets the complete email series, beginning on the day they subscribe, and one timed copy of every subsequent email in the series on the numbered day you specify. (For example, all my subscribers get automated emails from me on days 1, 3, 6, 10 and 15 and thereafter at 5-day intervals. All automated. I don't "send" anything at all.) They all get one copy of the right email that goes after the previous one and before the next one. That's normal. That's what autoresponders are for.

It would rapidly become a nightmare and a disaster to try to do it "by hand" (i.e. not automated).

It's also possible to send additional, "non-series" emails which everyone gets on the same day, regardless of where they are in the "series". Those are called "broadcasts". I don't use them myself, for all these reasons ).

(If you use Mailchimp's free service, you can only send "broadcasts" and not automated email series at all. In other words it isn't really an "autoresponder" at all. Just in case you wanted yet another reason for avoiding Mailchimp. Not that anyone here should need yet another reason for avoiding Mailchimp, really.)

      .
