SMTP.com vs Mandrill

I send out just under 10k emails a month (host is Modwest with Interspire Email Marketer software). I'm paying $50 a month for SMTP.com. Mandrill is free up to 12k. Is there any advantages why I should be paying SMTP.com?

    Mandrill is great for transactional emails. Their policy doesn't allows sending marketing emails.

    If you are paying $50 per month to SMTP.com, I would highly recommend you to use MailGun, there are no monthly cost and you pay for only what you send.

    I personally use MailGun (I use MailGet to connect with MailGun) for sending emails and the deliverability is pretty awesome.

    I have great success with Mandrill. But don't spam or direct link affiliate links that are blacklist. Some of my friends have their mandrill closed down.

    Make sure you setup the DKIM and SPF inside your host from Mandrill and verify your domain to get better results and 99% Inboxing Rate
