List Building On Steroids..

Yo Dudes & Dudettes,

So anyways...

Frank Kern talks about the importance of using different angles when marketing to boost opt ins at your capture pages. In fact, when I first heard about this & it "clicked" I went out & immediately started to implement what he was teaching.

So just a heads up for the dudes & dudettes who use the exact same message on every single capture page they create. Don't do that. That's just dumb!

I thought I would quickly create my first ever little "tip" in this forum.

More to come.

Later,

P.S - If you ride a bike. Do yourself a favor & save a tire, ride a wheelie.

Yea I agree with you. Thats why it's important to test different headlines against one another continously to see which one is converting better. You can also do things like change the opt in button message and color this also helps .

Agreed. The image, the layout, the call to action or the form itself can all be tested for to improve results.

Yeah I think there is some Truth to what you say.

You always want to be testing and working on improving your Sq. Pages.

Of course, some sub niches in IM you want to have different than other Capture Pages of a other Sub Niches you are pursuing.

Plus, setting up sq. Pages for different demographics is important too.

For example, targeting say 'stay at home Moms' for Affiliate Marketing versus targeting ' 70 year old retires' for Affiliate Marketing definitely may warrant a totally different Sq. Page.

        So be dynamic

Doesn't make sense to me why so many people are not doing it. I always "copy" Frank Kern & Empower Network. No need to reinvent the wheel =)

Can't speak for Empower, but Kern is known as a testing addict.

The question becomes, how do you know that the wheel you are copying isn't the losing option in a test?

Even in a simple A/B test, the odds of copying the winning page are only 50/50...

        Totally agreed!

These angles that you're talking about can come very easily if you do your market research thoroughly.

Geographics, Demographics, Psychographics, and Technographics... Once you dig deep into these areas you will find tons of angle to approach your testing.

And actually, before one even thinks about testing, he/she should have done the research. That way the testing has PURPOSE.

Having a high converting opt in page is only one aspect to having a valuable business online. If you can create an irresistible offer that people want they will sign up for it! Your landing page should be simple and to the point and have one purpose: To collect email. Offer what you need to offer in it's best and simplest form and test it with solos.
