Email marketing is one of the best channel to communicate effectively with your potential customers.

However,

"Which are the best email marketing service provider that I should use?"

You can make the decision based on the data provided from Sam Cart.

1) 62% business owners used Aweber.

2) 12% used Mailchimps.

3) 9% used InfusionSoft.

4) 8% used GetResponse.

5) 6% used Others.

6) 3% used Ontraports.

7) 2% used iContact.

May this surveys and data help you to choose your email marketing service provider. I personally used Aweber for my Internet business.

If we do email marketing, is our email id noticed as spam id?

Nope. As long as you ask their permission before you send them your email.

I believe most of people called it as a double-optin.

That Mailchimp came ahead of Getresponse tells me that this survey is meaningless for what I do. I'm an affiliate marketer - and Mailchimp cannot even be in the list - were it relevant to list building & online marketing using affiliate products.

I'm in the process of moving from Aweber to Getresponse - and I'm just a tad leery of sites claiming that Getresponse has that low of a following.

I've seen no numbers online reliable enough to report - but those I've seen suggest that Aweber and Getresponse are neck and neck as far as customers go.

I'd be willing to give the nod to Aweber - but find it strange that Getresponse is so far down the list.

Unless the survey group was exclusively IM/MMO types (in which I include affiliate marketers for this answer), I'm surprised that Aweber and GetResponse ranked as high as they did. A quick survey of my inbox shows a large number of mainstream companies use Infusionsoft, while many smaller non-affiliates do use MailChimp and ConstantContact.

        Good point!

I seriously doubt if most companies have ever even heard of Getresponse - although they might be vaguely aware of Aweber.

I think it is because for lot of companies MailChimp is for free (up to 2000 emails). But i'm not sure is question in this survey good: "Which are the best email marketing service provider that I should use?"
Becasue it all depends from type business, from database size, from lot of things. For example, in. e-commerce is better to use software which is well prepared for autoresponders and newsletters. And of course group "others" can also be interesting for many companies.

Mailchimp is pretty decent software, although their TOS might be comparatively too strict for Internet Marketers.

I was with Get Response when I first started IM years ago.

I switched to Aweber and in the last 5 years I sure have NOT regretted it.

Get Response is a great email marketing software, you get free landing pages templates, web forms, plus they have a 30 day free trial which you don't have to put in any credit card information. I've been using get response for a long time now, plus some of the top internet marketer today also use this software. Plus they have great customer support.
