Assuming you have an eye catching title and tempting offer on signup, I would stay away from so called "free" methods of getting traffic. It is usually low quality and you will end up with a list of freebie seekers. I would recommend trying some solo ads and banner ads on a small scale first and see what your results are. If you get a good percent of signups, scale up. If you still get no signups, it may be time to look at your squeeze page again.

    Hi Harry,

I started out the same as you. I have now managed to build a successful list that is growing and is very targeted to my niche. I invested a great deal of time in creating content that is well written and presented and relevant to my to my website. What I find works well is what you are currently doing - joining relevant blogs and discussions, joining in and then posting links to the information they require back to my website. Generally if the link is relevant to them and you tell them they can get more free information by signing up to your list then they will. I have had great success here. In terms of Facebook setting up a well thought out fan page and then ensuring that any posts you put on other pages have a link back to yours works well. Once you have referred people back to you fan page and they like it, engage them and then encourage them to sign up your list or refer them to products you wish to promote

I hope this helps and you are on the right lines - keep on persevering!

What I'd suggest is that you know exactly what your potential subscribers want, what are their biggest problems and frustrations.

To understand these, you'll need to spend sometimes reading on forums, and talking with people on your niche. There's no better way to understand what your potential subscribers/customers really want (it's not what they need) than talking with them.

Are you tracking your clicks? Are you split testing landing pages? Also use forums, YouTube, Twitter and Pinterest. Some say free traffic is a waste but if you put a little bit of time into each source every week it's probably worth and not too much additional work.

Have you ever tried the Solo Ad route ? Not only is it for the IM niche but the fact is there are a lot of Solo Ad vendors for the Weight Loss and Personal Development Niche.

Here is one for example http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...ent-niche.html

Note: I just did a Search on this and found it. I absolutely DO NOT know the quality of this Vendor having NEVER used it myself. So please research before buying . I sincerely think it is worth looking into , though

As someone mentioned try solo ads out.

Now personally I am in the IM niche but solo ads is really the fastest way to build a list simply because the traffic you get really tend to signup.

I would try solo ads but i would check reviews and testimonials of solo ad vendors to see if buyers were getting any sales from them I would then contact the solo ad vendor.

If you want to build a healthy buyer's list while developing a good relationship, definitely be selective when selecting solo sellers. Look specifically for sellers offering 'buyer' clicks. You wont find them for $.25 or anything, but it'll be well worth the expense.

        Here's to taking action!

Solo ads is really good tool. You have to build an integrated marketing strategy including all kinds of social media activities. And of course you need really good content. If you have any problems with that find a good copywriter
