Could I build a reasonable list with this product or similar? Pros and cons?

Can I just start by saying that I really am new to list-building, so if there are some glaringly obvious reasons to my questions then all (constructive!) criticism gladly welcomed.

Is it possible to build a decent size list with a product such as this - see link

Slaying Social Anxiety PLR Mega Pack

Please note that this is not my link or product etc and have no affiliation! Just genuinely would like to hear thoughts about it really, if I am going around it the right way, as the title says any pros or cons or thoughts would be great!

I have chosen this niche but it could well apply to many others.

I appreciate that this is not new or fresh content, and it is a product available in lots of places. But if it were marketed to the correct group of people, then it may well be new content to them.

If I were to get subscribers in exchange for such a free gift, and I had knowledge of the actual subject then email follow ups would be fresh, and by then one would have an idea of the level of interest or if this method is successful in building a list worth putting time and effort into.

You might ask why not just make a product, but if there is one that looks great already then why make another rather than just build on this?

Any thoughts or input would be appreciated

Marketed to the right people, I think you could absolutely build a list with it.

Thanks for the vote of confidence!

Would you consider paid advertising around the niche? or fb groups, forums and the likes? I doubt SEO would ever be an easy option as the actual product IS repeated around the net.... what do you think?

I also think that you have a market to target so just test some traffic sources and then continue with the working ones in order to build a huge and responsive list by the end of this year.

Could you suggest traffic source ideas? I have really only had success in SEO before, but the ROI just wasnt worth it using the amazon affiliate type sites i made. I am a total beginner in the world of list-building but I have just read about it for so long that I am finally trying to make headway

So yes, I appreciate that there are many methods of getting traffic, youtube, pinterest, social medias, but are there some ones that are easier to 'test the water', and would you consider paid methods when testing things?

      Thanks for the replies too!!

Provided you know how to set up a funnel and tweak it, then finely targeted PPC is great for testing.

Solo ads are a great way to test the waters.

    Pluses:
    - You can get traffic in days (or quicker). Great if you want to test the market, opt-in page, offer etc.
    - Don't have to worry about affiliate links like you might with Facebook, Google, Bing
    - Can be very targeted traffic
    - You know the upfront cost of your campaign

    Minuses
    - Costs money
    - Your traffic will be limited to the amount of clicks you purchase
    - Some ads will perform better than others - Try to do as much research as you can before you commit to buying.

You can do some research on solo ads at safe-swap and lead-swaps. You should also be able to find lots of info right here in the forum too.

    Hi asc,

I agree with Steeleton, solo ads are a fantastic way to test your freebie, and they can be FAR cheaper than using other paid forms of advertising for testing (eg. Google Ads or Facebook Ads), because you can see the results quickly, and can reach a number of people in your niche very fast.

We use a site called Udimi for our solo ads, and we have found it very good value, and what's best is that all the sellers are tested by Udimi, so you know that they are legitimate. There are also lots of recent reviews on there so you can see that who you are going with is reputable.
