On September 13th and 14th, I decided to make a small test. On my hard drive, I have a list of 5000 people. From these 5k, I have something like 400-500 buyers. Now here's the thing: they are from one of my previous lists with Aweber, and I never sent an email to this list since...2011 (the list was just waiting on my hard drive)!
I didn't import the "freebie" list for obvious reasons, but only a small sample of the buyers. Please note that those buyers bought a high quality affiliate marketing training from me in 2011 for $10, and were super happy with their membership.
Here are the results...
1) September 13th 2014: Broadcast #1 to fifty buyers.
- Emails Sent: 50
- CTR:7 clicks (14%)
- Sales: $36.95
- EPC: $5.20
2) September 14th 2014: Broadcast #1 to 94 buyers (50 news, plus no open from the previous day).
- Emails Sent: 94 -
CTR: 8 clicks (10%)
- Sales: $29.90
- EPC: $3.73
- Unsubscribe: 0
- Bounced: 14
- Complaint: 3
Note: one of the buyers from this broadcast sent me en email asking about my coaching program (in the four figures mark).
I let you imagine what happens when I import the other 300.
Now, if you don't have are or not currently building your buyers list, I don't really know what to say...
How to build a profitable buyers list?
Simple, here are the steps:
1 - Create your own product (or buy a HIGH QUALITY plr - hard to find, but not impossible)
2 - Price it under $20 (Although it's so good that you could sell it $67 and it would still be a steal)
3 - Offer email coaching for the first 2-3 weeks (it's just a matter of writing a few step-by-step stuff in your autoresponder).
4 - Only promote USEFUL offers to your buyers (don't jump on every single launch to make a quick buck. If you do that, they'll buy from you for years.)
5 - Tell your story, be yourself
6 - Sell, sell & sell (I never emailed my buyers for two years, but they first email I sent was selling something).
7 - Sell your high item ticket (coaching program).
That's pretty much to it.
