I'm also having my own IM challenge. I really failed to every challenge I attempted, but it doesn't stop me from losing fire on my hot stove. It's really exciting and every time I fail, I always improved and learned many things and most of all....I loved the challenge. |

I put up my first af site in October and made my newbie mistake (it is on the front page and gets one visitor a day at best). Not that I won't make more mistakes, but I won't make that one again. This month I'm going to put up four sites and I want at least 7 sales (that will put me in the 6% bracket for amazon) and I want to get paid. I don't care if it's only $10. I've been watching pennies dribble in to my adsense account on my stupid blog for a year and at $16 it's a long way from a check. I want to get paid for something! |

Hi All - count me in too. Recently set up a website but my challenge is traffic, predominantly I don't know how to get any... Any help / advice would be great as I certainly need it! So by the end of November I want to have at least partially resolved this issue and have a steady plan in place. Thanks. |

Today is the day! I've decided to take a few different approaches to getting to that 100.00 - 200.00 mark this month. I am employing a PPC campaign with an affiliate as well as doing some CPA campaigns with some other affiliates as well. I've also decided to flip the two SEO sites I had been working on and see if I can get anything for them off of flippa. Along with that I'm going to employ this technique with some PLR and blogspot articles, using adsense. http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...o-excuses.html Plan on setting up 2 - 3 blogs per day this first week. Then giving some time for them to be indexed before I begin to populate adsense on them. I will post daily updates. Hope you guys don't mind. |

No work done today... argh! Will have an hour over tonight so I will focus on adding content to site #1 and site #2. 30 visits from Google today, but no sales on site #1. Hmm Im going to try to add some content and some more backlinks and see if that can improve my rank. I am so damn impatient, I want to see results immideatly. Keep the job up everyone! |

I'm in. I just started a site and the learning curving has taken my optimism from "this can work" to anger. With me anger leads to focus just to prove a point that it will work despite the resistance...you know, that whole resistance is futile thing? I'll start the second site/domain today in a completely different niche. I would like to see $50 per day starting the 15th. If I can accomplish conquering the obstacles of Wordpress I will hit that goal. On that note, any tips on how to master Wordpress? I'm just looking to see how I can delete certain items on a page that is not necessary or add things such as info about the author. |
The link of great joy and happiness...but this one? This is the one that all window cleaning companies in the free world are inspired by. Hey, where did the sarcasm font go?

Count me in, too! This is so motivating and sounds great. I have a bunch of domains I haven't developed yet. Would be nice to get something going. I think the tough part is making sure the sites stay updated. It is tough to commit to enough articles per week to keep the sites afloat. That and promotion for the existing sites seem to be my biggest challenges.

Happy news! I were so focused on Google that I forgot about the other search engines. Turns out that site #1 is ranked first for its main keyword at Bing.com! Woopidoo! |

I'm in...I have 2 WSO's I am about to launch. I am going to test real estate investing in here. I have a course that I will sell for big $, but I figure I might as well get it to the community cheap and get some testimonials. So I am hoping November is good.

Hi Rizzy, I have been trying some social bookmarking, nothing big but challenging in itself. Later tonight I am going to write an article and submit that to Ezine, after which I was going to set up a Hub page or Squido site but have not done this before. Don't know if this will get me ant traffic or start to get traffic but any advice you have would be great. Thanks. Quote: Originally Posted by stuart.stephen Hi All - count me in too. | I don't believe we will be showing our sites. If someone shows your site and the keyword your targeting on an IM forum there is a good chance others will try and go for that same niche. |

I use a paid tool to track my ranks. I just did a search for a free rank tracker and came up with this: RockinSEO | SEO Tool - FREE Keyword Tracker for Checking Keyword Ranking Try it out and let us know how it is.

I intend to end my paralysis this month! I've read so much and learned a lot but research is enjoyable and effortless for me, while actually doing is not. My goal for this month is to choose a business model and implement it. Get at least one site up and running. |

Well, got 2 of the sites up, waiting on the 3rd for later in the month, plus I have a management gig for another site I have to work out but not meeting with the client until Saturday. Need to get the 2 sites finalized and content up before I can cash in on those Ad Freebies from GoDaddy. Wonder how long it will take to burn through $50 on Facebook... |

Anyway, as for me... I wanted to write 10 articles, but only got 6 done before something came up and I had to leave. Think I need to buckle down more and get better/faster/more focused at writing. I've sort of got over the "non-stop reading and not doing anything" phase, but now I'm in a "jump around between projects and not really accomplish anything because of it" phase. Definitely need to accept that I'm probably not going to get instant results. Sorry if this is off topic or whatever. Not really talking to anyone in particular, just venting my thoughts to myself here, basically. :p

What is yout opinions on advertising while selling a product? My ads currently doesnt generate anything, but neither do I get any sales. The ads are not very relevant to the product I am selling. I am gonna forget about site #1 now, only do backlinking for it. Will focus more on the rest f the sites now and see how it goes. Considering it tops Bing but not Google It might just be that I need to wait for it to get indexed again. I believe I read somewhere that it is easier to top Google than Bing. IIs this correct? |

I just started this. I managed to grab a 2-word domain name, it has about 8K searches per month and the exact match shows about 100K results... is this too difficult? None of the in-title results had the keywords in the main domain though... I am building up this site now, but any thoughts on this?

Hi people I am new to this forum, and I hope to have a good time here, while contributing and learning in this forum! I saw this thread somewhere, and decided to join the forum after lurking for weeks. so I'm in! I am now writing articles for people on Freelancer.com, but I still feel that by working there I am being exploited. Should I continue there, or should I post an ad on Warriors for Hire? Gimme your opinions! I also aim to get a website up for my social marketing service, and hope to net at least $700 in profit by the end of the month. I intend to use the money earn from the articles, and put it into the development of the site, and also to fund the PPC for the site. Maybe I should also write some articles for the site, or should I just outsource? Do let me know of your opinions warriors, and I intend to really commit to my social marketing site, and not waste my time online! |

People, this thread would have been much more interesting if it were focused on solely one money-making method and the daily/weekly progress of every warrior subscribed. A poll would have been useful too - so each of the warriors that subscribed can vote what income they're seeing. Without trying to hijack this thread, anybody backing me up ? |

We should have IRC, but I have another idea. We could make separate threads on different money making ideas, and label them under "November Challenge" Still. This thread would then become the 'HomePage", which would provide the links to all the sub threads... How's This? |

I don't want to limit it to one money making method. Everyone is different and what works for one person isn't going to work for the next. This thread is just made for motivation to get us beginners to take action. As you read through the thread you will see people doing all sorts of different things. That is what I think makes this thread great. Hearing what people are doing and how it is working for them. There are a lot of people that have posted in this thread with less than 5 posts and some have said they finally joined the forum to participate in this thread. It is already getting people to take action and that is fantastic. We all learn a lot more by taking action and right now this thread is meeting that goal.

I agree that I was motivated to start posting as well as commit to taking action in my business due to this thread. I think it's a great idea to start a thread specific to one business model, and someone may start that as a spin off of this thread. For motivation and accountability, I'd love to see our posts at the end of the month. I suspect some of us will make progress instead of spending 30 more days lurking, reading, subscribing, changing our minds yet again, and so on. |

Hi I need SERIOUS help please. I tried submitting my site to an RSS feed late last night but ran into trouble, I am following a 'how to' and I didn't work and I don't know what to do next. I have searched on Google etc but can't find the answer. This is big stumbling block and it's either me or the computer going out the window! Basically I entered /feed after my web address which was suppossed to return a nice smiley google page with my hyperlinked RSS feed - instead it returned a script of my entire website. Why, how, what do I do? Please help. |

Hello everyone, I'm in for this. Here's my challenge: I built two sites in the last 2 weeks. My challenge, like another poster mentioned, is I'm concerned that my sites won't get any search engine traffic. I'm following the rent a site approach and am focusing on local service niches in smallish (20,000 population) towns. Neither Market Samurai nor Keyword Spy show any volume for my keyphrases. The teacher of the course I bought seems to think I don't need to worry about search volume but I'm not buying it. So basically, I bought PlumbersSmallTown.com and built SEO'd sites and created a few backlinks. It was real easy to rank for these phrases (I'm already on the first page for a couple phrases for both sites) but I don't want to put a whole lot of time into them until I know there is some traffic. So my thought is to wait and see what happens. If google analytics shows any traffic, then I'll start focusing on getting the top spot which shouldn't be hard at all. It just seems kinda crazy to put much time into keyphrases that you don't know what the search volume (if any) is. Am I thinking straight? Now that I know the very basics of SEO and building Wordpress sites, I think I'll start looking at some bigger markets and keyphrases that show some search volume. I haven't figured out a good goal for November but I'm working on it. Good luck to everyone and thanks for starting this thread. |

Complete fail of a second day. Neglected work for...boorish nothingness. Perhaps the mind took a little rest. Found out I had good traffic on a successfully marketed article on Sunday; however, the ref link had syntax error'd during the absence of my sanity. For I was foolishly checking the reports on the CPA network site rather than making sure the content contended traffic. Reports suggest I missed out 300-500 uniques T.T
(feel free to include me as one of your critics. I would not mind a free article. ) Oh, after your rep is established. Price your first 20-25 articles at $8 (do discount for bulk if you wish), assuming you are a novice writer who can still accomplish 500 words in one hour. Then, increase prices as demand rises!
