My wife is studying health, fitness and nutrition and she knows a lot of valuable info so I am looking for a good topic to have her write a report on. This will be a good exercise for everyone since writing and publishing reports like these can be extremely profitable. I'll start with my idea. A lot of young people these days cannot get through the day without drinking a whole bunch of energy drinks. This is directly related to poor nutrition and lack of exercise. A report explaining why they have no energy, why energy drinks are killing them and also how they can get through the day energized by just changing a few things in their diet and exercise I think will do great for this market. Let's hear your ideas. The winner will receive $40 via Paypal. Cheers |

Report on grip/wrist exercises. It is a niche with low competition. Write about tendinitis and wrist pain and how to correct that with specific exercises. This would be very useful for many people who use computer daily, since they tend to develop wrist pain. Me included.

Those three are big topics by themselves and can be written as a series of articles. Other topics to consider: 1)What does your body really need when you crave carbs? Substitute carbs with anything else you are interested (pickles, steak, chocolate, ...). 2) How much protein is too much for a healthy body? 3) Vitamins: the good, the bad and the ugly. (substitute vitamins to something else). 4) What food you must avoid when you are feeling down. 5) Your mind controls your body... Or is it the other way around? Feel free to PM me if you need any more topics or would like me to be more specific. I enjoy doing this kind of stuff and will come up with several other topics. |

How about a report the showcases the power of 10 (or more) super foods that are known to increase energy, promote vitality, and encourage weight loss/allow you to maintain a healthy body weight. You can provide a detailed description of each food item, list what vitamins and minerals they contain and list what effects they have on the body. You may also want to include motivational material on why a person should maintain his or her health by eating a healthier diet; as the average reader of your report may know that he/she could be eating better but may not understand the long term repercussions of poor eating habits.

What you should do, is a CASE STUDY report depicting and explaining the before and after of changing the food/drink/exercise you are discussing. Nothing proves more profitable than RESULTS and EXAMPLES. Or, include within your report documentation of a case study some scientist has already done. Do a search for 'food and drink health case studies' to find some good ideas. |

Hi Jan, People today struggle a lot with depression, anxiety and the like. write a report on how changing diet mixed with exercise can actually improve the quality of life without going to a shrink or buying the next self help course. That would be a hot one -WD |

Hi Jan, Kudos to both of you for wanting to help the youth of our world and the future of our society - I tip my hat to you guys for raising awareness on such an important subject! Here's my suggestion for your report - sure, you can focus on the solutions - more exercise, more often, healthier eating, sleep habits, etc.....but that doesn't stop the problem. The problem will come back as soon as the solution is no longer in use. Why not focus the report more on the problem? Zero in on the 5 key habits that lead to young adults turning to energy drinks and other forms of energy supplements? I think that if you were to focus in on the problems and how to eliminate the problem, the solutions would simply fall into place as a reminder. No matter what you guys end up doing, I am sure it will be a very useful report to many! =) Cheers, Brian |

A report about obesogens could be huge. The science behind this could/should completely change the American/world diet. Obesogens are screwing up our endocrin systems. It could help explain why a friend of mine has tried every diet known to man and is still obese. You can read more here (not aff link): Amazon.com: The New American Diet: How secret... Understanding Obesogens | The Dr. Oz Show I bought obesogendiet.com and obesogensdiet.com and had big plans but I have not had time. I still hope to build a site at some point since it could be a great way to break into the diet, weight loss, nutrition niche. Since it is new it is ripe for an authority site, a forum, reports or whatever. There are some top researchers in private and government circles pouring tons of money into studying this. There will be constant new content to write about. A report about obesogens would also be easy to tailor to young ones if that is what she wanted to do. Something (even some of the earlier posts) geared to high school or college age could easily go viral with some clever promotion. P.S. If I win - instead of $40 you could give me full rights to the report. |

Nutritional changes to help combat fatigue at work, boost metabolism for better health and weight loss. Dietary modifications in the evening to improve your sleep, burn calories, and improve morning alertness. Fitness strategies for the lazy/busy office worker. Using the resources available at work to help improve cardiovascular fitness (stairs), strengthening and toning muscles in the office to decrease risk of falling and injury. The cognitive benefits of making small changes in diet to lower fatigue during the day and make you sharper at work and at home, exercising to augment blood flow to the brain and improve your stress level allowing you to get a better nights rest. Improving your sex life and relationships by improving self esteem and confidence by changing your diet to improve complexion, toning your muscles for a more attractive physique, improving your libido with dietary changes and exercise. What do teenagers think about the most? Sex, Looks, Money, Popularity A report on how the bad habits of daily energy drinks and not eating well can lead to poor overall health, difficulty with memory, fatigue, poor complexion, etc. All teenagers worry about how they look. More specifically, poor diet and other bad habits promote hardening of the arteries, which can lead to decrease in sex drive and erectile dysfunction. That should catch the attention of most teenage boys and get them thinking about the benefits of living a more optimal lifestyle. Good luck and would love to purchase/read whatever you come up with. |

Being in college and like a typical person, I am always on the go. I eat like crap all day because it always seems like I am running late somewhere. I grab sodas, fast food, everything crappy that you can think of because it is cheap and I am rushed. I rarely eat at home because everything that I have I barely have time to eat. I think a report about healthy eating on the go would be helpful to a huge amount of people. If you also included meals that are quick and healthy as well as easy to access healthy snacks. The key thing is that people want easy things, most diets don't work because they are drastic changes, small changes at first are easier, no matter how much you want something if you hate it you are most likely to quit. Hope this is some help, Chris |

Hi Jan Send a question to well known athlets or dietist and ask them to write a 400-500 word article why energy drinks is bad for their health and ask them to give good alternatives with nutrition instead of energy drinks, and give your wife the articles to make her touch on it. Call it "Replace Your Bad Habit And Energy Thives In ??? Simple Steps Starting Right Now". Something like that. //Thomas |

Hi Jan, Why not tie the three disciplines (health, fitness and nutrition) together and write a report or a short series of reports about how fitness and nutrition both affect and effect one's health? Another angle you could take (consider the season) is how with the proper fitness and base nutrition a person's health will be well enough to get a person through the season and all the extra food & drink that comes along this time of the year. Taking care of one's fitness, nutrition and health now also will minimize or eliminate the "need" for massive dieting and out-of-the-ordinary exercise to begin the new year. That would allow all resolutions to be something a little more personal and private, rather than trying to "fit in" with the crowd. Best wishes to you two whatever subject you choose! Roger |

| Re: $40 Paypal to winner. Help me choose a topic for report in the Health/Fitness/Nutrition Niche I think that an interesting topic would be – what precautions must be taken to avoid orthopedic damage when doing physical exercises. In my opinion you could even do a series of articles on this topic. This topic encompasses different medical conditions (such as cardiac patients) which on the one hand require certain exercises to facilitate recovery but on the other hand limit the patient's capacity to do certain exercises. |

Hi Jan, I am also in the health field, and in my experience, I'm careful not to recommend dietary supplements or health remedies due to the FDA regulations. However, I think there are some really good exercise programs that would be very appealing to the young or busy working moms that need something they can do quickly. There are exercises that are based on breathing, it's like aerobic breathing, but can be done sitting, or in a car, or while doing certain stretching exercises. A 10 minute workout is worth a half hour to an hour's worth of aerobic exercise. I think this could be appealing for the young and for the older, because it's fast, effective, and you can get trim through stretching, and breathing. 10 Minutes a day to a young and vibrant new body. Ditch the energy drinks, and start feeling better naturally with just some simple breathing techniques. You're low on energy because you're low on Oxygen, get a natural energy boost from simple breathing exercises. |

Hello Jan : You could write a report on "Negative Calorie foods" that help lose weight effortlessly even while eating more of them. These foods consume more calories during the digestion process than their own calorific value resulting in net negative calories. However, you need to balance this with nutritious foods that give nutritional benefit and breathing exercises as well as light exercise to gain maximum benefits without the need for expensive equipments or personal trainers. This is a great DIY project for weight loss. Thank you. God Bless. Kingofcash |

Jan, My idea: 90% of college students are stressed. Look into specific causes of stress among undergraduates (exam crunches, late-night study sessions and how they yield poor sleeping habits, etc) and develop an easy plan to eliminate stress. The plan could include everything: from going to bed early, to regular exercises (even if for just 30-45 minutes a day), to meditating. You can also talk about benefits of taking a few micro-naps a day to help the tiredness go away - here you can talk about how much sleep is too much sleep for a random middle-of-the-day nap (you know that cranky feeling if you fall asleep for an hour instead of 10-15 minutes?). Another idea is breathing exercises that you can do in a hot shower to ease your mind off things, or stretches that get the blood flowing and make you feel good! Benefits: 1) HUGE market, and a good chunk of it has credit cards in hand 2) 90% of this market is stressed and would love an affordable, easy-to-follow solution 3) Younger buyers = less experienced with buying eBooks = lower refund rates What do you think? Best Regards, vip-ip ... |

Health, fitness and nutrition. That is mighty broad. Heres a few narrowed down ideas: 1. Fitness and nutrition for the middle aged Internet marketer. Sitting in front of the computer sipping on a caffeine loaded drink and eating junk food several hours each day cant be good. lol. 2. Young Women: how to avoid osteoporosis. Its never to early to start. This is actually a huge problem as most women have no idea they begin to lose calcium and therefore bone mass as early as 30 years old. 3. Kids: Fructose syrup good or bad? What does the research say? 4. Best heart healthy foods that help prevent coronary artery disease. 5. The link between fitness, nutrition, and Alzheimer disease. 6. Do we really need to take vitamin supplements? Thats just a few ideas there are millions. Im a nurse by training and this niche is the one I focus on. A couple of the ideas I just gave you have treated me really well......... |

This is a wonderful idea! The power guide to health – is a compelling title for such a book. Fitness has to do both with health and personal power because when a person is fit then he is empowered over his physical body – that is, he can do more things like walk and run long distances.

| Re: $40 Paypal to winner. Help me choose a topic for report in the Health/Fitness/Nutrition Niche A really hot topic in my own social circle is tailoring a person's diet according to their blood type. Peter J. D'Adamo's classic bestseller "Eat Right 4 Your Type: The Individualized Diet Solution to Staying Healthy, Living Longer & Achieving Your Ideal Weight" is owned by almost everybody in my social circle. This is truly a "killer" topic for a report in the Health, Fitness and Nutrition Niche. |

| Re: $40 Paypal to winner. Help me choose a topic for report in the Health/Fitness/Nutrition Niche Another thing, which has jumped to my mind … With the growing awareness for "Make Love Not War", even in "Red" China who has opened her doors to trading with the West, East Asian style of Holistic Medicine is becoming increasingly popular in the West. This has impacted traditional Western style medicine and now we see more and more research dedicated to empirically investigate different methods in East Asian Medicine (Shiatsu, Acupuncture etc.). You can write something on Empirical Studies proving the effectiveness of Shiatsu/Acupuncture/etc. therapy I believe this to be an extremely hot topic for a report in the Health, Fitness, and Nutrition Niche. You would have all the alternative health experts applauding you. |

What do young people want? To be part of the latest trends. My idea for you: STAY YOUNG FOREVER Trendiest & Healthiest Foods Celebrity Fitness & Health Foods Who do youth idolize? Celebrities. You'll find some celebrity eating some trendy drink, healthy food recipe or snack, so let your angle be on staying young forever and eat what their idols consume, the healthy ones that is. I want to know what keeps Celine Dion so slim, what does she snack on? What foods does Heidi Klume eat to keep her skin so silky smooth? Can't just be products. Celebrity Healthy Diets - that's HOT! |

Pls pm me your paypal email so I can pay you and thanks for sharing everyone. If you are just reading this thread then you could potentially make a ton of cash by picking one of these topics and hire a pro to write a report around it or write it yourself. Create a mini site and a sales letter. Sell it to the public via Joint ventures, forums, blogs etc. Enjoy! Jan

All I can say is...GOOD FOR YOU. I have been fit my whole life and now feel very zapped for energy. Im a victim of the energy drink cycle and spend anywhere from 3 to 12 dollars a day on them. thats $90 dollars on the low side per month and $360 per month on the high side. Crazy...nearly $5000.00 dollars a year. I would gladly pay $350 for a product that would help me break the cycle
