I'm Alex from Malaysia, computer lecturer by day and internet marketer by night. My dream is to one day have a full-time online business and be able to spend lots of quality time with my lovely family.

I'm not exactly a newbie but could really use any advice, help or joint-ventures from a potential mentor.

I've learned a lot since I first started in internet marketing and I'm still learning every day. Every night I work hard on my laptop till about 3:30 a.m, sleep for a few hours and then go to my day job in the morning. Still, I'm not really moving towards my goals as fast as I would like to be.

Some time ago, I ran my first WSO here. I had been reading about the problems that newbies were facing, and I wanted to create an all-in-one resource center for newbies. They would be able to get ebooks, software, web templates, graphics, audios and web hosting for one low monthly price. Occasionally there would be guest experts to conduct training and answer their questions.

You can see my WSO thread here:

http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...7-monthly.html

I bought a MemberSpeed software license, had someone design my site header for me, but set up the rest of the site myself. I couldn't afford any copywriter so I wrote all the sales copy for the WSO post and the site myself. I gave it my best shot and thought that it wasn't too bad. You can see my membership site here:

Newbie Success Club

Guess what happened? My WSO was a total flop! I only got 1 reply and not a single sign up to this day.

Anyway, I didn't let that get to me. I was a bit disappointed but I'm not one to dwell on failures.

Now I've written an ebook called Super Lifesavers- Top Free Software Tools That Save You Time & Money. I put it in the War Room as a free download and it's got a lot of good reviews:

http://www.warriorforum.com/war-room...y-updated.html

There's also a Rebrandable version so you can rebrand it with your own affiliate links, and give it away to build your list and make some money.

If someone would like to do a JV with me or share some advice to take me to the next level, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks so much.

Alex
Alex, I am happy to discuss this with you. Shoot me a PM with your email details and let's connect during the week.

I believe some small tweaks to your strategy can help you greatly.

Just as a side note...

Anyone on here seeking mentoring, should do so with an open mind.

If you have a specific area where you wish to focus, then put it here, so we know if our thoughts are congruent.

That way, you will probably get a better alignment between mentor and student.

It will greatly help your cause if you can clearly state what you are prepared to do and are prepared to offer in return (be specific). That way, any potential mentor does not waste their time. It also creates a mutual obligation understanding.

Instead of waiting for someone to volunteer... get out there and demand what you want and what you are prepared to do to get it. Simple.

Don't just ask a few questions.. grab the info and move on. That isn't what mentoring is about.

Finally, feel free to chat about your ambitions with potential mentors and pass up if they are not compatible. And if you do decide to accept an invitation, please stay with them and follow their guidance. don't take on 2 or 3 for the sake of it and then decide which one to stick with.

These are my vies and thoughts and I do not speak on behalf of others.

Thank you.

Thanks so much for this thread! This is a great opportunity for some to receive help and others to "pay it forward". I genuinely believe in the idea that we should sow good seed and reap the benefits in return.

I'd like to be able to take advantage of both opportunities if possible. I'll try to make this succinct:

ABOUT ME

  • I helped start (including all paperwork, legal, and vendor relations) and I help run (day to day) an eBay business that grossed 20k in its first 120 days and 17k in its first 90 days with growth greater than 10% per month
  • Business is owned by parents, I see none of the money, but I get use of a personal vehicle ($400/mo equivalent)
  • I love business, numbers, the internet, and technology
  • 23 years of age
  • All of my material needs are currently met, but no job/disposable income
  • I want more and I'm willing to work for it
WHAT I'M ASKING FOR

  • Help starting a writing business OR content site with minimal overhead, that can be run from anywhere, and that grosses 20k/yr within one year.
  • The knowledge to start other projects as I continue the first.
WHAT I'M WILLING TO DO

  • Follow your instructions, step by step, exactly as you say
  • Communicate frequently via whichever method you choose
  • Take full advantage of your wisdom and utilize your help to its greatest extent
  • Sponsor 5 warriors, chosen by you, with profits received before paying myself
If anyone's willing to help, thanks in advance! I plan to be successful no matter what, but a leg up would be nice.

Hoping to find a sponsor as well.A few years back I wrote tons of essays for people in high school that all got good grades. Have spent time since then writing articles for people making petty cash doing other small work as well. Promoting products has been a pain for me and im looking to get into writing ebooks. More then willing to provide some good karma down the line when things fall into place for me.

NEED SPONSOR ... BUT UNDER MY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Hello Everyone,

I do not need War Room membership ... I already have that.
I do not need a Warriors for Hire ad ... I already have that.
I DO NEED a tutor, mentor, guide, swami who wants to be my PARTNER.

I am looking for someone that has made money writing product reviews on Amazon products that they post into their blog so they get money as an Amazon affiliate when someone buys off the link on your blog.

My goal is to use your expertise with my writing expertise to learn how to do this myself. The ultimate goal would be to have me record what I am doing from your leadership and then we package it into a WSO where we split the profits.

Mentor Requirements
* Have made money on a monthly basis from Amazon affiliate
* Don't currently sell a WSO on how you accomplish this
* Willing to give me insights on your blogs, your methods, your strategy

What I bring to the Table
* I will write you three product reviews that you can use on your blog
* I will record what I do based on your leadership
* I will write an eBook based on our success

About Me
Not to be a sob story but I am currently unemployed. I am living off of unemployment and I really hope the government decides to extend long term unemployment by Wed Dec 22nd because that is when my benefits expire. I am not actively looking for a new position but instead am trying to learn how to do internet marketing so that I don't have to go back to a day job. I was a computer programmer so technically competent. Have MBA. Published author. See my sig for my thread on my writing services.

So if you meet my terms and conditions, I would love to talk to you. You can PM me or email me directly at ratracegrad at gmail.com (Hope it is ok to give out email addresses). I am looking for a partnership where you teach me and I give back to you by splitting profits on a future WSO.

Multiple job openings available meaning I am willing to work with more than one mentor if there is enough difference in the strategy.

Well, I am looking to be sponsored. My goal is that by the time I get out of college in 2 years I want to be able to support myself full time with IM. I don't need much money, but I would appreciate help with building my membership site. I didn't really understand the scope of my project until a week or so ago, and I know I can do it. I just need someone to get me on the right path. I understand there are people here who could probably benefit more so from help than me, but I would still appreciate someone giving me a little push in the right direction. War room membership would be helpful as well.

Hello,

Lovely Post!

I need a Sponsor for my WSO; I can't make it myself because of Paypal not accepting my country.

The WSO is a Dating Niche Resell Rights Pack; a Step by Step Dating Training Guide:
101 Laws of Power Seduction (pdf)
A Lazy Man's Guide To Seduction (pdf)
How To Bed Her In 2 Simple Moves or Less (pdf)

And A Lucrative 3 months Weekly Membership Training Manual

Week I - Man Know Thyself
Week II - Mental Reprogramming
Week III - Mental Reprogramming 2
Week IV - Super Charge Yourself For Success With Women & Business
Week V - Frame Your Mark: The Day of The Jackal
Week VI - How To Befriend The Beautiful: The Most Guarded Open Secret To Seduction
Week VII - Marked For Bed: Advance Seduction Techniques
Week VIII - Marked For Bed 2: Apply The Law of Ruthless Finishing
Week IX - Fill Her Void: Take Her To A New Level
Week X - Keep Her Dependent
Week XI - Give Her Pleasurable Pain: Use Pain to Your Advantage
Week XII - Never Drop Your Guard

I would have made the payment myself but as I said earlier my country is not a Paypal country.

I need a Sponsor to pay for the WSO and I am open to all Sponsors

p.s. I wrote all myself and I will offer all Warriors who invest in my WSO ongoing support in their membership sites as I consider myself an Authourity in Dating.

What a great idea. This forum has got to be the best resource out there to learn IM. I could really use a mentor or sponsor I have been trying to do internet marketing for some time now, but find myself getting frustrated. I have purchased a couple different programs that promised the I also want to say thanks to all of you who are willing to help others in their online ventures this place is a wealth of information that is much appreciated.

Thanks

Hello Sal,

Thanks! How can I get the preview to you? PM me detail!

Also thanks for your "Membership Profits Vault Unlocked" you graciously shared in the War Room; it was a big help to me to plan, structure and setup the content for this Dating Training Guide.

Thanks again.

I'm not saying you can't be sponsored otherwise, but there's plenty of Warriors here in the thread that are ready and willing to sponsor a Warrior.

But is it worth it for them? If you want to be sponsored by a successful Warrior/mentor, why not do what YOU can to make it worth it for them?

Think about all the things you can provide for these generous men and women, that wouldn't cost you a dime? Would it be worth it to you, to write a handful of articles in Microsoft Word in exchange for what might literally change your life?

My gut says, if the people who WANT TO BE SPONSORED start throwing offers out there, the results will be much better for this challenge.

Example, determined marketer says "I'll whip up 10 articles and optimize them for search engines if someone can sponsor me and help launch my first WSO!"

"I'll create a package of PPC banners for all sizes if a Warrior sponsors me a War Room membership" etc.
What a thought provoking question. As always one good scratch deserves another..... What would I do if I was sponsored into the War Room? Pretty much any task that I am qualified for.

I have had many experiences with setting up social media profiles, on and off page SEO, Wordpress set up and plug in installation. Where most people want to receive I want to give.

I freely can give time I the motivational, critiquing of products, product reviews, affiliate interviews, testing new sources of traffic. Pretty much any online technical stuff I can handle.

WHY I want to be sponsored is an even more titillating story. You see just a few years ago I had everything I ever needed a house, my children and a happy life starting when BAM! Like an asteroid crashing into the Earth and shattering the Earths crust into fragmented pieces, my life became very fragmented and spiraled off course.

I can save the poor me details but let's just say that having strong mentors, a mastermind partner and accountability coach who knows where to obtain the best results from and quickly.

We have an ecommerce store just getting ready to open our doors to affiliates and offline retailers. I could use some help getting our physical products into the hands of information marketers.

A total win win for the IM professional. Also a win for me as well to gain the correct system of link building mechanics and tactical partnership development.

I am serious about getting my life back in order and the only way to do that is to form alliances. Give and Give relationships. Where each party is accountable to the other party.

Who knows possibly even new products and ventures grow to created offshoot businesses and products that support what we are trying to achieve.

I hope I am one of the lucky winners.

This is very interesting. I am a newbie here (although I made a few bucks online before, nothing to write home about) and I would love to have someone sponsor me to jumpstart my IM career by next year. I want to join the War Room but I don't have enough funds as of the moment. In return, I promise to repay the costs as soon as I make a consistent living online. I'm also willing to do a little outsourcing work for my sponsor, such as writing articles or building backlinks. So to anyone out there who is willing to sponsor me, I am here.

Hi Sal,

I am really interested in having a mentor, whatever you wrote in this thread is correct and I agree with you.

I am wondering if you can provide some help here.

I can write more about myself, but it will like soap-opera thing either not doing enough or failure.

I want to start fresh, if you can help me I am ready to provide by best.

My skills:php/mysql/html programmer with 6 to 7 years of online only reading exprience not taking much action.

Please, help me out here to start as fresh.

Regards,
Amer

Thank you.

Ok, so let me get this right...

You are an experienced php programmer?

What sort of ideas do you have in mind?

Are you looking to create apps to sell?

It's difficult to - and I should have mentioned it - decide unless the student has a clear picture of what they want to do. You cannot expect your mentor to create the business for you. All they can do is help you realize your ideas.

I hope that makes sense.

Actually I don't want to do anything to related to the programming right now. I want to sell other people stuff like an affiliate etc. So, that I can automate my business where as php programming it required lot of efforts from getting a customer to satisfying their needs.

Great! you ask me all of this which I should ask by myself. Its looks like we are going some where. Fire me some more questions and suggestions may be I can start moving.

Ive been lurking around these forums for quite a long time, only really signing up a few months ago.

Ive been in the IM world for 7 years and still cant seem to focus enough to get any money out of anything.

Here is a thread I made quite awhile ago

http://www.warriorforum.com/off-topi...spiration.html

Im still not healed from that injury and am still bed ridden. I uploaded a video of the wound to youtube if anyone is willing to see it

YouTube - Pilonidal Cyst Bandage Change (oddly enough its one of the most viewed videos I have)

Nothing ever really came from it except some great well wishes from warrior friends.

Im at a crossroads and just dont know what to do now.

Im possibly being deployed to afghanistan in June strictly for the money but if I can get something started online I would be able to stay home.

Im broke but still not looking for peoples money. Real guidance is much more valuable to me.

If in the end Im not chosen to be sponsored thats ok, I know their are more deserving people, I'll keep plugging away regardless.

But I thank everyone in this thread and on this forum for everything they have contributed to it and me.

And the Opis right, Im not rich but this forum has still changed my life.

Thanks everyone

Dylan

So basically if that's where you're heading, then I won't be able to help you because affiliate marketing I do not do.

Hopefully someone else with experience will be able to help you.

Best of luck.

Sponsorship for publishing an eBook in Return for dedicating a page to the sponsor with a professionally written review article

I'm a freelance astrologer, writer, translator and researcher for more than 20 years. I've ghostwritten two eBooks on astrology and now I'm writing an eBook on birthstones. Birthstones (Astrology and Crystal Healing combined) are a unique niche, which is only being researched by a very small number of astrologers.
I have researched this subject for more than 20 years and now I feel the time is right to share this knowledge with the rest of the world.

I have no resources for publishing besides my knowledge and experience, as well as my keyboard and modem. I would be grateful if anybody here could sponsor the design of the eBook Cover as well as promoting it.

In return I would dedicate a page in my eBook to the sponsor with all their details including a professionally written review of their business. I will also publish the contents of this page on the different forums I'm subscribed to and my FaceBook Fan Pages.

If anybody here is interested in my project, I can send them an excerpt of the manuscript.

I can be reached via skype: bareket57
and by email: bareket57@gmail.com

Interesting challenge. I appreciate the offers by the many Warrior Elite to assist those of us who are new here. Obviously I also would like the helping hand that has been offered but, as Sal has shown, the direction you are heading plays an important role in the mentor's relationship with the person being mentored. Forgive my Star Wars reference, but no matter how good Obi-Wan was... Anakin still became Darth Vader.

Having said that... I ask all potential mentors what is it that you are looking for in a "Padawan" that would make you consider mentoring that person?

Although my services and knowledge are limited they would be at your disposal until the cost of a membership is paid.

Please consider this.

I would be very happy with a War Room sponsorship if someone would be willing to do so.

I also am looking for (a) mentor(s) in regards to Offline Marketing (including Google Places.)

After I make enough money to do so, I pledge to then sponsor another forum member for a War Room membership.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

I'm not able to reply by private message yet, not enough posts. But I seems like I got stuck today.

But, there's a thread here about designing websites for other people. I liked the method and decided to go with it.

So my potential client wants a sample of my work. I was planning on putting up a site today, with about 5 -8 wordpress/html templates that I customized. I planned how I wanted the site to look. And thats where I got stuck. I just didn't know what to do next.

I don't know if it's really confusion, because this should be really easy for me to do. It doesn't take me long to plan, design and get a site up. It's more like fear masquerading as confusion.

I have everything in place, hosting for my site, hosting for the client's sites. But my brain is failing right now. Hope you can help

I guess what you want to do is create a site with pictures (screenshots) of the customized templates that you have, and then provide the URL of that site to him. This way he will get to see what they look like, and not be able to steal anything

Then maybe you want to email him and say "these are the websites that I have created, as you can see they are very professionally done" etc.

And then maybe a day or two later you can email him and go "Hi, if you remember we talked about websites the other day, I was wondering if you've decided.."

UPDATE : So he's suffering from the lingering effects of something he caught while on vacation in some foreign country, and will be unavailable for a while. Will let you know when he's ready to take people on again

Well being the productive person I force myself to be I went ahead and picked up the war room membership, the last 40 bucks from a dying websites advertising budget.

It realy is a great resource, spent a few hours in there today.

Hopefully I can find some nice posts in there for some traffic to replace the traffic I subbed for buying the membership.

Thanks all
