UPDATED And this is where my thread went! Seeings how it has moved to contests and challenges, I will be thinking of a contest/challenge to create some apps for some of you. If it's allowed here and I get permission to do so, then it will be a challenge to donate to a non-profit that hits close to home to me. And anyone that donates I will create an app for them. I would recieve ZERO funds for this donation. I also have a warrior forum android app that if Allen allows me I will give that away also. I am curious to how many warriors use android based phones in relation to Iphone users. ***************** In the meantime if you have a mobile optimized blog/site I'd like to create an android app for 1 warrior. Instead of randomly choosing someone with the details above: (mobile optimized site or blog) I will create an android app for anyone that makes a donation to: 2011 Autism Walk I will make as many as I can up until my sister reaches or surpasses her goal. I make no money through her page as I try to support her and raise money for her and her organization when I can. if you decide to donate and would like an android app. email me at graphicsunloaded @ gmail.com or contact me through skype with that nifty little icon to the left. as for the warriorforum app I am updating it and will have it available soon for anyone that wants it. This is a maybe 2.... Jeremy |

Android. I like the flexibility, flash support, open source and having a device that is not in jail. I also have an Android tablet: ARCHOS |

I love using my Android OS HTC Hero! The phone is maybe a bit outdated now - the hardware isn't really powerful enough, but it's definitely given me the Android bug. My next phone will probably be an android (though I do love the iPhone's screen!) |

HTC EVO4G here - absolutely in love with it - formerly iPhone 3G. I think Android takes the cake as far as number of users go, being open system, while the iPhone is still seen as a better phone by most consumers (what do they know anyway?).

Definitely Android. I remember that when my HTC Evo 4G first came out, the fanboys were criticizing its "unwieldy" screen size (4.3"), saying that it was a short-lived trend that would never become mainstream, but now you see all these big screen phones from the major manufacturers everywhere! So much for the prognostications of these fanboys...lol.

I voted iPhone. I tend to us that more than any other phone. I do have a phone from all the major operating systems except Symbian, it is one of the things I love about having a SIM card. I can swap out my phone like I do my baseball hats. Either iPhone or Android is great, you can find apps that customize the phone to your liking. Chuck |

Big Android fan. Cancelled my ATT contract to get the original Droid when it came out. Currently using the Droid X. I love the customizing that can be done, you control the experience you wish to have, versus Apple telling you what your user experience is going to be. I have free programs, where the exact program on Apple will cost you.

Results of the poll seem to mirror the real world. Android outsells iPhone by maybe 2-to-1 or something (not sure exactly). I have a Droid X and love it.

Android all the way! I used to have an iPhone 3G but it was awful and had terrible battery life. I almost wanted to get a Nokia cos of its fantastic battery life and durability. However, I saw the HTC Wildfire on sale and bought it... although it is entry-level, it is tough, has a great battery life which can last me a week, lots of free apps, and plenty of other great functions. The next phone I would love to get? The HTC Desire HD |

I've got both an iPhone and a Galaxy Tab with Android. One of the biggest turn-offs I have with the iPhone OS is the lack for Flash Support. So my vote goes to Android.

I work for AT&T and sell both Android and iPhones. I have owned both. I LOVE The iphone! The camera on it is amazing, most of the other phones have choppy camera's. Yeah the android is easier to customize, but all the menus and submenus make me think! lol. Anyways I love the iphone4, but the Androids are nice. You guys should check out the Motorola Atrix - Has laptop dock (sold separately) that turns your phone into a laptop HTC Inspire - Huge Screen & You can access it remotely from any computer if you forget it somewhere. And of course the iPhone is coming this summer |
