I believe I have the necessary skill-set and experience to be a mentor to some people here.

However, I also believe that in some areas, I also want to be mentored.

Now, I am lost.

I'm looking for a mentor to help me build and audience and increase sales for my membership subscription newsletter site in the investment management industry. I know my product is one of the best on the market, and I am skilled in research and trading (semi-public figure that is regarded in my specific investing niche), but I struggle on the sales and marketing side.

For members interested in working with me send a PM and I will send you more details and a link to the money site.

An offer to be followed and indirectly mentored ...
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hi Everyone, This thread is really a great idea. I wished I had seen it a few years ago when it appeared to have started. However, now I may be able to help a few in some kind of indirect way.

I have had some success in IM and I am very technical and understand all the techie stuff. What I have been weak in is a consistent and growing residual income base. Admitting my lesser strength I joined a couple of strong coaching programs (not cheap ones). This is an initial 6 months adventure and I am posting on my blog what I am learning ... for all to see. My goal is to reach an automatic residual of $100 a day as soon as possible and then grow from there.

To follow me you simply have to check my blog (its in my signature) whenever you want or you can subscribe and receive the updates automatically. Probably once or twice a week I will post what I am learning. Right now it is beginning info and basic but if you are a newbie or need focused attention this might help you. At least, it can't hurt and it certainly will not cost anything.

I am excited to follow these coaches and if you decide to follow I hope you are helped also. If you visit, send comments and we can build our businesses together.

Hello, my name is Scott Powell

My opt in page being prepared now reads as follows

"When you start your online business would you prefer a system that fails 97% of the time or a system that succeeds up to 94% of the time?"

Time for the NFOP to GO!!!!!

This is what I have termed the Newbie Failing Online Paradigm.

I will shift it, need help.

Just ask,

Take care, help is on the way.

I AM here to help.

Cordially,

Scott Powell

Ps just a side note.....STOP sending ebooks, send Bimodal Books why?

One if my other questions on an opt in page

When sending out information would you prefer your potential raving fans retain 10, 25 or up to 68%?

If this confused you, get in touch!!!

Happy to explain and share examples.

Hi everyone,

I love this thread. Thank you so much for starting it. The posts from both mentors and those looking to be mentored have just been so touching.

About myself, I'm looking for a mentor. I have a product that is in the kindle niche that is almost completed. I'm brainstorming ideas for OTOs. I'm also trying to decide if I should sell it as a kindle book or offer it as a WSO. If I offer it as a WSO, I would need help getting affiliates and launching the product.

I have a few books on amazon but I'm working with a new illustrator on one of my series that made it to #1 best seller status on amazon. After the new illustrations are complete, I will begin promoting the series more heavily.

Besides kindle, I also own a few amazon affiliate websites and am just getting started with amazon fba.

I am still working a day job but would like to bring in a more consistent monthly income with my kindle, amazon affiliate marketing, and amazon fba businesses. I think I may be overextending myself and trying to do too much of the work myself. Maybe I need to begin outsourcing some of the work.

I'm an extremely hard worker and am a very determined person and have set a goal for myself that I hope to achieve by the end of this year. The goal isn't just for myself but also because I work for a nonprofit that helps people who are blind or visually impaired and the unemployment rate within this population is a staggering 70%. I'm visually impaired myself and I want to show others that they too can achieve the same success that I have.

Although I've seen some success with what I've done, I would welcome the help of a mentor to help see me through to the next level. Any help from anyone here would be so greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone,
Is this thread still active? I'd love the opportunity to be mentored. I'm a newly single Mum from Australia. When my husband left us i also lost my job as i worked for him so i have ended up with nothing. I make enough money to cover rent and am constantly stressed about how we will survive but at least we have a roof over our head - right!
I am struggling to gain work, i am either over qualified or cant fit hours in around school plus their is huge bias and discrimination against single mums out there. Added to that i also have a hand injury and have decreased use of my hand which makes gaining employment difficult too.
I ran a very successful business while i was with, my husband, gained website and SEOing skills through that. I also have a side business as a photographer. At the moment i am soacking in every bit of information i can but finding the whole thing overwhelming. I'd love to have an IM business(es) to relive the stress i am currently under. I would be thankful for any help i can get. Thanks

Hey guys!

I'm a completely blank slate - well a chalked up chalkboard, to be honest (more on that a bit later). I am only 16 and am looking for a mentor to help me figure out how to make profitable long term business with IM.

Thankfully, I'm not in desperate need to make a quick buck. I just have genuine passion for learning. I'm at that point in my life where I am going to have to make career choices soon, and I want to open as many doors as I can before that!

Last summer, I tried Wealthy Affiliate, but felt really bad for making my mom pay for something. I had tried empower network before that. Both programs seem to work for people, but alas, I got no where with them. Maybe I gave up too quickly? Needless to say, I couldn't afford it either way.

I joined WF two days ago, and I am starting to feel overwhelmed. I just do not know what to do.
I've been posting in any thread that seems relevant.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi all,

If this thread is still active please see my plea for help below!

I've only been reading into Internet Marketing for around 6 months. I now find myself spending half the working day on the WF, dreaming of getting out of the 9-5 slog and working for myself one day.

I'm about to embark on my first real campaign - a PPC campaign with a squeeze page offering a free report with follow up emails promoting a Clickbank product.

I am somewhat happy with the product and niche chosen, though I'm also doing it as part of the learning process - If I fail I have lost nothing and will continue!

As I said I dream of one day working as a full time IMer and look forward to the day I'm on the flipside offering to help newbies out in the WF!

If any genuine folk would gain great pleasure in helping a beginner out I would love to hear from you!

It's a new year and it's time for me to take on another few students to mentor. I started this thread many years ago and it has given me back so much more than I have given... the gift of giving is truly amazing.

So why should you pick me? I've won many awards this year for my business which is based around a nifty app (think Facebook events done really well and then some....and you might be close!) - I tell it as it is as my posts here will show but all 10 students i took on in 2014 now have well playing jobs/businesses based on what we did together.

What I expect in return - a real passion for what you want to do. If you say I love internet marketing but dont know where to start then you are not for me. A passion would mean you've tried it, been to many courses, read everything about it, given it a go and have solid motivation to not only succeed but be the best at what you do...period. PM'ing me with message saying you want to learn is lazy...this forum has so much knowledge and if you were serious you would have used it already...it's where I went when I was a few years into my journey and if I learnt from here first, so should you.

My rules are simple, I have a lot to give but I expect a some real honest passion, drive and proof of that in return.

If you fit the bill.... and want to make 2015 truly your year, then please let me see if I can help. Once you have passed my entrance barriers I'm a nice guy! I just hate wasting my time with people who think they are interested but clearly not....

Hey mentor!

I am looking for someone to point out silly my newbie mistakes.
Market: art
Niche: self-studying artists looking to improve their drawing/painting abilities
Project: Wordpress blog with tips on technical art abilities and work ethic.
Monetization: for now Amazon affiliate links and Google Adsense. I plan to expand this to other affiliate sites & have my own products (Udemy courses, maybe?).
My challenges:
1. Traffic. Obviously. To be specific: I want to delve into article syndication. Is the format of my articles suited for syndication? How do I hunt for publishers myself? How do I make people stick around on my website after they read the content elsewhere?
2. List building. Does my blog look interesting enough to subscribe? What kind of emails do I send out in the first week? What kind of interaction do I look for with my subscribers?
3. My first product creation & launch. This would be art guides. How do I create a professional product without experience? How do I get people excited? How do I get feedback from the users?

If you have experience with any of these three, then I would love to learn from you!
An important note: I am still looking for a place to live, it would be best to start our project after that’s done, so I can commit fully. This means starting mid February

Thank you,
Iris

Re: I challenge you to MENTOR a warrior in need...

This is my application for a mentor.

I am broke, worse than that I am broke with 2 young kids to feed. I had a conventional company that was doing well but I took my eye off it when my kids were born and a few bad decisions later I have to sell it to wipe the debt.

Why am I telling you that? Not because I want your sympathy, I own my bad decisions and I'll learn from them, I want you to understand my motivation. I am self motivated at the best times, but with two kids to feed and the feeling of a father who is unable to provide for my family, I am probably the most motivated in the forum.

Work ethic, motivation and and ambition are not problems, what is a problem for me is knowledge, I am starting right at the bottom. I have literally only just been made aware of IM and immediately I know it's for me, I have the basic skills and personality to make it a success. But I don't have the luxury of time to develop my knowledge base gradually, I have to hit the ground running and start making money quickly.

I have some products to launch, but I am just as aware that unless I don't get others involved and have the right page and tools it wouldn't matter if I was giving away the recipe to turn lead into gold.

I would love a mentor to help me launch one or all of my products. Let me learn from you, let me do as much of the work as possible, just be over my shoulder showing me and guiding me. I will gladly give away commission for this kind of support and you're time would be paid back in profit.

Looking forward to hearing from anyone willing to help

Thanks

Roy

I want to mentor about a dozen people who want to build a winning business plan (one that helps their business, wins backing from investors or just learning a formula they can reuse to earn money creating other business plans).

My new course is teaching this so of course I'll use you a little as my test students and expect openness and feedback in return. That way we all win.....

Start by telling me a little about yourself. I need people who will follow through and try to do what I ask in the course...only way I get real feedback (people who give up after an hour of trying are not what Im looking for so really want people who want to learn to make a plan)

Sounds like a solid plan.

My name is Roberto Esposito. My work is primarily based in fitness as a group trainer. My fitness resume is growing, and I'm competing in my first physique competition in August. I want to expand my reach and know the internet was the vehicle for this to happen.
I've partnered with Jamie Lewis and his team. They built me an affiliate website, and I've gotten the basics down with Dreamweaver CC and uploading files via FTP. I have a basic understanding of building HTML sites.

As far as traffic, my main source will be YT marketing. I have powered up 2 new YT channels for SEO purposes to help rank quicker. It's all whitehat. My aweber account is set up. I'm a student of the OMG community for SEO's.

I want to begin my IM experience in the fitness niche because my passion for fitness will push me through during the harder times. But eventually, I want to move into different markets, possibly sell on Amazon and do this big. But I'm taking it one step at a time.
I'm searching for direction at this point. There is plenty of great information out there, possibly too much to be sifted through. So I find it imperative to stick to one goal until it's completion and then move on.

If your mentorship differs from my experience allow me to assure you that I am more than capable of opening up my mind to different avenues of success.

If you'd like any more information, don't hesitate to ask.
Hear from you soon,

Roberto

Thanks, and remember:You matter.

My wife and I are self-employed for over 20 years now. We own a brick and mortar retail business that also sells some products online. I have an immense amount of experience dealing with marketing, events, product demos, employee training and management. I'm frustrated with being limited by geographic and industry limitations as well as wanting to tap into the full potential of the internet. I like to build "passive" income style systems that free up my time so I can spend time with family and pursue other business projects that I am interested in. I've taken a strong interest in email marketing, but I like to find the best way to maximize its return on invested energy. Something outside of the box.

Hey guys!
I am quite new to AM, yet I have all the necessary foundations in order to be successful in this category of business. I have been approved to an affiliate network and have started a campaign. What I would enjoy to have is someone to give me some level of direction so that I can efficiently focus on developing my abilities as an AM.

Hi,

My name is Himanshu. I am a web developer.

I wish to do IM but each time I decide I will do something with respect to IM I quite. (Mental block). So I need someone to take me from zero. Just point me on proper direction and to create the belief that IM actually works. (I am not able to get that confidence that IM will actually work inspire of reading so many comments hear on WF)

As I said earliear I am a web developer. I recently developed a web hosting website that you can check hear. I can do WordPress, PHP etc. In exchange for your mentoring I will do as many web projects as you want.

From education point of view I hold degree in computer science.

Thanks!

There's no rocket science here.

Pick a target market.

Get in front of them with attractive information to help them solve an important problem.

Get them onto your list, so you can continue to market to them.

Market to them. Explain common and significant problems they have. The person who best defines the problem is the one who's going to get the order.

Put offers in front of them to solve their problem in exchange for money.

Get paid.

Fulfill your order.

Nothing magic here.

I think people do vastly underestimate the numbers of what's necessary to succeed in IM. You don't just plug two or three prospects into your funnel and have a customer drop out the bottom. At each point in the process you are going to lose leads. That's OK. But you need ENOUGH leads. Like 60, or 100, or maybe even 500 if your offer isn't great and your problem isn't well defined or significant enough.

I'm in a high ticket sales group and was surprised to read the numbers on getting one prospect to fill out an application. The pros, who it's important to keep in mind are MAKING MONEY and are known for their services, are paying $60-80 for a completed application. Even at $1 per click that's still 60-80 people, with almost all of them flaking out, deciding its not for them, or not being ready or a fit for the offer. At $0.50 a click that's 120-180 people.

Way more than I had thought it would take. Even though I have experience from some pretty big projects, I had figured people who were already familiar with the seller would be a little more interested in getting involved. But obviously some, like I said above, are falling out at earlier points in the funnel: during the first 15 seconds of the webinar video preceding the call to action to complete the application, for instance.

Have you waited long enough in your past efforts to collect enough people in your funnel to produce a customer? Money saves time. If you can buy traffic, you can decrease the time to getting a customer. But if you can't afford paid traffic, then you have to wait.

This thread seems great!

I was going to put a post to invite members here for a free personal development programme ai intend to offer.

I am not going to teach anyone how to do email marketing or design a website but will help anyone needing to help with their self development - identify strength, weaknesses, help buiold business plans etc.

I feel that a lot of members have good ideas but lack the vision of running business successfully.

So if anyone is interested then send me a PM.

Thank you Venturetothetop for this thread.

Yes please, I am looking for a mentor. I have been studying Affiliate Marketing for over a year now and have bought various information products but haven't been successful in generating commissions.

I have a basic understanding of the list building process:
1. Choose a profitable niche
2. Find an offer to promote
3. Create a campaign, opt-in page, freebie etc.
4. Generate traffic to your opt-in page
5. Send follow up newsletters to your list for conversion
6. Eventually swap ads or sell solo ads

Now I've created campaigns, and tried different traffic sources...youtube, social media, safe lists....but no luck. I've been wanting to do solo ads but I don't have the budget for it at the moment. I have a baby on the way and need to save up for our 2nd child. My pregnancy is considered high risk and so I stopped working at the moment. My husband's a writer and is working 2 jobs but just enough for the daily expenses.

I'm on bed rest and have all the time in the world to make this work. My problem is how to generate targeted traffic. I understand that to make it work, you either have the time or the money. I don't have the money but I have the time....

Please point me to the right direction to get free targeted traffic. I'm willing to spend hours with you on a daily basis just to get this right. And of course, your time is valuable and so I am more than willing to pay you as soon as I make commissions. Paying it forward is also one of my missions in life. With your help, I will teach other struggling marketers out there to be successful as well.

Looking forward to working with any willing mentors out there.

Hello I'm new here

I'm Blade 23 years old been practicing internet marketing for 5 years and so far I have no successful niche. I'm a web developer I tried many niche and still haven't giving up to them like PPD for games and other things needed. I created a new project 2 months ago it is a website that looks like viralnova but still waiting for adsense to accepted us to start earning to it.

I'm in the third world country where Credit cards are not popular so I get all my funds from freelancing writing homeworks for other people, creating website and doing tasks like copy paste thing. The work I done is not enough to support my online business. So I work as web developer as my day job and if my budget is short in paypal I have a friend that I can pay using real money and in exchange he send me the money to my paypal so I can pay the hosting and ads.

I'm a business minded but kinda lost please someone direct me to right way. If the issue is about investing I'll do my best to work it out.

In exchange of mentoring me I will give back all I learned to the community and also the mentor will get percentage of my earnings.

Thank you so much!

Hello,

My name is Angelo and I am big fan of this network and how each other take care of it. Don´t you agree?

I especially loved this thread, because it is an authentic reason.

I work as freelancer for over 10 years in Brazil. Yes, I did it all locally and by word-of-mouth. Right now I am looking into the worldwide market and I was hoping to get some quick advice from interested and serious mentors.

The ideia is to spread my digital services worldwide to reach people that need digital services. I am just starting to improving it to get really excellent at it.

You guys have a lot more experience than me. It if were you, what do you think would make this better?

-PPC Campaigns (Any specific location and or target?)
-Social Media (Any specific?)
-Giving first to receive after for random people?

What do you think?

Regards,

-Angelo

Then after that 30 days you can focus on getting other things right, like marketing, seo etc...

I don't know why my post got deleted in the main forum. Maybe I should have posted here. Anyway...

I haven't been here in a while. When I first joined the Warriorforum, I was lucky enough to be mentored by a veteran warrior. I've struggled over the years but now I've made a living for myself.

I'd like to give back to the community because this was the turning point of my life, and I feel the need to reciprocate. I'm willing to mentor a struggling warrior in need.

Some stuff I can cover:
- Find ideas to create a real business even if you currently can't think of any
- Build a business from scratch and make money within the same month with a budget of no more than $500
- How to know if your idea will make money
- How to compete in your market
- And other crazy strategies that you may or may not have heard of

Let me know who's interested. I prefer warriors who have at least 50 posts, War Room members, or someone who makes less than $200 per month online.

Send me a PM, and tell me why you should be mentored.

If you wish to be mentored please state why and what you bring to the table. What skills do you have and how hard are you willing to work.
Nervous about talking about myself.
I took a few college classes in computers and learned some about IT and coding but
stopped for family reasons.
Age = 21.
My hobbies are playing video games and reading books (specifically manga and comics) and watching Twitch streams of people playing video games.

I haven't bought a new video game in awhile.

Explain in detail what your experience is and what specifically you want help with.

Ok, this post has been replied to over 500 times and has been viewed over 80k times. Most of the people who want to be mentored probably have not have been lucky enough to get someone to mentor them. Of the people that have been since this thread was started back in 2011, where are you now?

I also would liked to be mentored. Two weeks of mentorship is hardly enough to go from 0 to 100 but I am sure it would help get off the ground and running.

I don't want to mess around, I want to be mentored by the best. I have the skills and the ideas to make money, I now just need a little direction.

What do I want to learn?

Product creation.

I think that would be the first step for me. I have ideas and information, I just need to turn those into products that can be sold.

Are you good at product creation? If so, I challenge you to take me up on this offer. Get a hold of me via email. rwsorensen@hotmail.com

Hi Guys,

This is a great thread. I am a web developer and looks for a mentor for affiliate marketing. I have been digging into it for past 5-6 months, but haven't really made much of the progress. I do have 2-3 affiliate websites, but not getting any traffic to generate any income. Any mentor who can help me with his experience will be great. Keeping the fingers crossed

Thanks,

Re: I challenge you to MENTOR a warrior in need...

hello fellow warriors,

I am new over here as i'm new to the field of IM, i have tried to make a new thread of this but failed for some reason so i came over this one and it seems pretty much good place to ask for the help.

my name is Diab, i'm a new warrior as i'm new to the world of IM.
first of all i'm sorry if this thread is in the wrong section as i'm new over here as i mentioned above, recently i graduated from the faculty of computers and information, specifically the department of IT networking, so i have a very good computer skills but i was always eager to learn more of IM and been always impressed of how people build their own success in this field.

So i decided to join this career and achieve my own success, but i just don't have any idea of where to start, been reviewing videos and going through forums and staff but its just so many ideas and info that i cant get them to the right use.

That's why i am asking for help of people that made their own story of success, people who wish to mentor and teach newbies like me how to get their own, or even to take part of their business doing their boring hard parts of their jobs basically working for them and by this way i can help them doubling their outcome and save their time,

I am a very quick learner with the ability to work day and night for the goal of making good money and developing myself.

i will list below some of the skills i got even though there might be some of them that still need development but i'm sure it's gonna be way enough to start with.

-Languages: i can speak, Write,Translate,Edit, and Rewrite in 2 different languages ( Arabic - English ) , and this could be a very useful for some people who would like to expand their business to cover the other side of the globe.

-Writing reviews: for any kind of products, and can give a good feedback.
-Research: great at sniffing out good niches
-Social media: good at dealing with Youtube, facebook, twitter etc..
- a little background of SEO,had the experience working on a website with "flash games" content where i used to be the one adding keywords, tags and etc..
- i can work under any kind of stress, and achieve results within the time given.

and there are many other skills that i may have but didn't come in mind, so its basically i just don't know how to put those skills to a good use.

so again i'm looking for someone who can let me take part of his business, be my mentor, and guide me through, someone who can point me to the thing so i'd get my skills improved and make a good use of them.

i am sure i'll get some help over here because the gift of giving is truly amazing
thank you,
