Is it just me or there is really something wierd going on here. please stop this one or two liner thing. If you only want to push up your post count, do it else where, don't post on a half year old topic with no update. You should be able to read clearly that the Thread Starter is no longer updating the thread. |
Thanks, William Prawira

Hey all! Take a look at post #93 (page 2) for WillyBoy's last post on this thread. There's another thread that he commented on May 12th, but nothing here since August 2011. :-( |

Hi guys, Apologies about this - I moved on to using Amazon and I actually purchased a Clickbank product and focused my time in these areas. Funnily enough, I was making sales on Amazon within two weeks which could make for an interesting journal - however I think I will create a journal explaining what I have done, rather than what I will do, that might be more useful. Apologies for the lack of updates/failed journal. |

I visited this thread couple times. I see that no one has taken up the challenge. Let me take it up - and that with a step ahead. My Plan - Make one video a day and upload it to a video sharing site with a direct link to a Clickbank product. My aim is to make about 30 videos by mid-Feb so that I earn an average of at least $1 per video each day, $30 per day. I'll keep posting updates. Anyone else wants to join me? |

| DAY ONE - VIDEO 1 For the first video I looked at Clickbank products with a high gravity of 50-100 and did some keyword research. The best way to get some relevant keywords quickly is to open the Google Keyword Tool and type in the URL of the product's sales page. The tool will give you a hundred targeted keywords. I then checked some of the long tail keywords for videos on the first page of Google. If there is a video it is a good sign for it means that Google allows videos for that keyword. You will not find videos for many targeted high traffic keywords on the first page not just because videos for them may not exist but because Google may not permit videos for some keywords. I took screenshots of some pictures from the product sales page and also made 1-2 liner texts in large font in powerpoint slides and saved all slides as jpeg(about 10 of them). Animoto is a video maker which has a free version - I uploaded all the slides to Animoto and made a short video. What's cool about Animoto is that it has some good music to choose from. Once done, I uploaded it to YouTube and put in the Title(main keyword), 6 tags consisting of closely related keywords and made a good description with relevant keywords. I used a shortener for my Clickbank affiliate link. I also made an annotation to click on the link in the description. After publishing the video I pinged it on pingler.com. I do intend to do some back linking but a bit later. So that was my first video. I intend to upload one everyday. If there are any questions I will be glad to answer them without giving too much away(eg the product name, niche etc), later in the day. |

Uploaded my second video today. The product has a gravity of over 100 and has a good number of exact searches. Also just one YouTube video of the product on the first page of Google with not many in subsequent pages. For my fist video I did some twitter backlinks. I am looking for some other good backlinks maybe a Fiverr gig will do. Any suggestions on free/ paid backlinks? I don't know whether I should move my posts to the main forum - I am not getting many useful comments here except one-liners maybe because it is a tail-end section of the Forum. I even got a PM asking how my promotion ended up, only a few hours after I uploaded my first video and posted here! |

After uploading 2 videos I have a total of 75 views but the videos will take some time to rank I guess. The views must be coming from those who watch similar videos where YouTube shows them thumbs of some more videos. I have decided to do back links for them in a few days just to play it safe. I checked my Clickbank stats and there are a few hops but no sale as yet. Third video to be uploaded today. Will keep posting and updating this thread. |

Better link to a landing page where you capture leads and then redirect the visitors to clickbank page after users opt in. This way you shall be building an email list simultaneously to whom you can repeatedly promote related products.

^^^ That's a good suggestion. In fact I was going to try this strategy after uploading my first few videos. It is more work but may be worth it in the long run.

Nice one Nicole. I will be joining as well. My strategy will be very different though. I have selected several products from CB and will promote them through email marketing. My plan was to write enough articles and promote my articles. Hence my traffic source will be article syndication. As of now, I have setup my domain with only around 5 articles. I will be adding more articles weekly. They take plenty of time to write and English is simply not my best language, what-more making my articles syndication worthy. - This will be my greatest obstacle in my attempt. When I finally have some source of traffic, I will proceed to setup Aweber and start to capture emails. I will then send out mails once every few days with tips for my subscribers. But now, my focus will be content creation. I doubt I will see result within 30 days, but i will be posting updates nevertheless. Feel free to drop me reminders if I slack off with no updates - it will motivate me and put me back on track. Cheers. |

Nicole, Nice sharing. If you could share video on daily basis, I propose you make it every 2 days? Here is what I do on my article writing: There might be holidays or days that you are planning to do other things So I always under commit and store store backup work. Some times I have enough back up and I "over deliver" a bit and I found page visit increase dramatically. Also I never worry about go off for a short holiday break. |

I will take this challenge up. Today I uploaded a video on a clickbank product and targeted a long tail keyword towards my product as I did lots of research etc... so I know I picked the right keyword. Next... 1. Uploaded the video with file name matching keyword 2. Gave the video a good title with keyword in it 3. 500 word description with my keyword density at 4% 4. Got the best tags I could get 5. On Channel SEO with almost everything on the channel 6. RSS pinged my video + Channel + RSS pinged a few PR4+ RSS feeds with my RSS feeds using yahoo pipes 7. Did some more pinging etc... 8. Bought a fiverr gig for some good backlinks Uploaded video 4 hours ago. Sitting on page 2 (1070 results)already for my keyword and page 15 (2200 results) already for my difficult keyword I didnt even target. : ) My keyword gets well over 30k searches a month Cheers so I got til Feb 23rd to make a sale(s) : ) |

I don't believe it! I made my first sale in 3 days. 33$. I'm a complete affiliate newb too. I think this is just luck, and who knows, they might refund it heh. Now I have to get 5 sales to be paid I think.

Good luck but you might need more that 30 days unless you have already built up a massive responsive list.
