I'm challenging myself and others to start building new mailing list from scratch.

The challenge is, to get 1000 fresh subscribers in 1 month or 30 days.

Here what I can not do to get those subscribers.

1. the list must be fresh list, mean that, it's not coming from my existing mailing list.

2. NO Ad Swap

3. No Paid Advertisement

Yeap, that's it.

I will start, when this thread is approved, and will walk through on each steps I'm going to take.

1st step.
Decide what niche I am into.
The following point will help me to decide where I should focus my niche on.

1. My interest
2. Have lucrative online income pottential

Just by those 2 points, I will decide where is my list heading to.

This is a great idea! I will follow this thread hoping to learn something new about list building. Building 1000 subscribers in one month is not easy if you don't use your previous IM contacts.

Guys, sorry.... I"m taking a long break for a while.
Ok, now, next step.

After decide, which niche will I go, I'm now at creating at least 4 follow up emails.

All my first 3 emails will have the following :-

1. Tips Sharing
2. Link
3. Name

For the forth email, my email will be promotional email. Solely that intention !

I'm not doing any charity here, I'm sharing information and making a living from it !

This might take a week to complete, but I'll make it faster and will let you know, when done !

Ok, guys, I'm already behind the schedule. But worry not , I believe I can get that target !

So, our aim is to get 1000 subscribers.

I just want to put this to simple analogy.

Let say you have a cake, one cake only.
Your goal is, to give that cake to 1000 people.

I want to let us reset our mind setting of collecting mailing list.
We are not like insurance agent, where, when you get a lead, you will follow up till death .

What we are doing, we are GIVING and SHARING what we believe could help them.

So, that's why I'm using a cake in my analogy.

Ok. Now, you have a cake. Whatever the size of the cake, whether it is big or it is small, no problem. It just indicate yourself. If you are new and have less experience, perhaps you are having a small cake.
If you are some famous guy and have a lot of experience in your topic, your cake is big.

So, no matter what your cake size is, your goal want to deliver the cake to 1000 peoples.

Let say your cake is small. Even, when you cut all the cake into 1000 pieces, it only have the size of a hair string

Do you think people can eat that cake?

Now, before this, we all thinking like that. If we want to get 1000 subscribers, we must have a lot of experience, lot of capital, lot of bla, bla, bla.....

WRONG !

We can have nothing but still can get that goal.

Ok, now, here the solution.

Who says in this game, you must have ONE cake. Is it consider cheating when you have few cakes more?

Ops, before I go to far, just want to clear cut, what this cake represent to, this cake, represent ourself, our expertise, our knowledge.

Let say, you have a chunk of knowledge about Dog Training. Few more in Dog Whispering.

So, now you have 2 cakes.

Anyway, I already started using ONE of my cake to collect mailing list, through facebook.
I'll share with you later about HOW I'm doing it.

Before we move on, I must say, we should have a right mind setting of collecting mailing list.
When, we understand this, we can achieve any goal we want.

So, before this, I said :
1. Collect mailing list is like, giving a cake
2. You can have more than one cake

That's it

Simple right?

So, what does it mean, when I said, we can have more than one cake?
It's mean, we can more than one mailing list !!!

Our goal, is having 1000 subscribers.
In cake language, we are giving 1000 chunks of cakes.

So, now, we are going to let this into practical


About this project. After few considerations, I've decided that I'm into IM Niche.
With some experience I'm gaining since 2005, I think I have "IM Cakes".

So, what I'm going to do right now, I just find people that want to eat this cake.
It is as simple as say, "who want a cake ?"

So, I asked this last night at my facebook, and yes, there are few people who want to try this cake.

I call my first cake, "FAST SEO Cake".
Let see, how many people can I give this cake to...



In my next post, I'm going to show you some nice statistic
From "FAST SEO" cake, my target is 30 subcribers only.

Just a little update. It's 13th today. 11 day had passed with little progress

Anyway I've started doing the mailing list collection.

As I mention before, I don't stick with particular list.
Which mean, I'm flexible and can collect any list.

But, I'm under control, which mean, my focus is only in ONE niche !
In this case, my niche is Make Money Online !

Before I explain what had happen yesterday.

As you can see.
Right now, I'm having 2 set of mailing list.
This mailing list coming from Free facebook traffic.

Total mailing list right now : 70 (930 lead to go).

My plan right now,
I'm going to let the current promotion, flow by itself.
While, I'm going to create new set of mailing list.

I'm really sorry, I'm too busy to update this thread.
Yeap, I don't have success in making 1000 subscribers in 30 days, instead it took me 2 months (60 days) to get from 15,000 ++ to the level right now.




The screenshot before was one of my list, that list just made me 100+ lists, so I create new campaign and the new campaigns was making me a lot of subscribers then.

Great challenge. I managed to gain about 1000 subscribers to a fashion niche within 2 months. I had a huge amount of subscribers come at once due to a technique I used, now the list has a steady flow of new subscribers! I'll link to a blog post about the technique once it's up

I'm gonna start on Sunday May 27th I guess....where I'll finish the free report and e-courses.
