This October I am celebrating something pretty special! (well in my mind it is!)

I have been on line (in some form or another!) for 30 years

As a treat, I am looking, not only to do something for myself, my VAteams and my network...

But to do something for someone not as fortunate as myself

So to get the party ideas started, thought I would post a...

"What can DK do to celebrate?" thread.

We will choose, purely from your replies here, someone that needs a little boost in their life, a bit of on line love for their new site or just someone who, may already have it all, but has forgot they have it!

I am starting this thread now, because I will be very busy over the next Qtr with this and that!

Ideas can be as crazy as you like, or as simple as you like, I am not interested in any "money" ideas - EG: Why don't you spend a Million on powerball! Etc etc.

Nothing that endangers life will be entertained, however if you come up with something I have not seen on line or heard of... yet! It is in

Keep it as short or as long as you like, if you want to tell me all about your IM life or how you made your first 10k or how you are still waiting for your 1st sale on Clickbank, its up to you.

I will be enlisting the help of another veteran WF member... Kim Winfrey, not because I own 20% of his new kidney, but because he knows where I am going with this Thread, he has been through hell and back (twice!) and will no doubt enjoy answering a few replies here

So there you have it, a CRAZY idea, but that is what Internet Marketing is all about... have some fun thinking out the box with your replies and ideas

Hi DK, 30 years online..wow I started in earnest being online in 1996 and that seems a while..to celebrate you could hire a really great classic rock band* in a decent venue, and broadcast the event over the internet-have Warriors request online..so a private online party complete with Eric Clapton, or Paul rogers, or Snowy white..who ever you can get...(depends on the budget)

OK. Im thinking something like this :

Decide on choosing 10 people. All who need a little boost for their online venture.

The first 3 :
Choose someone who is good with video editing.
Choose someone who is good with words.
Choose someone who is good with design.

The rest :
Choose 7 people who have a new project online that needs a boost.

Compile a video. You've got a video editor. you've got a writer. And you've got a designer to lay it all out nicely. Then you've got the other 7 projects to promote in the video.

You could make the video about "living" online. Talk about how difficult it is to make a buck online. Talk about YOUR successes and failures and the pride, after the good and bad you've lived through, of reaching your 30 years. Then recommend the other 10 people introducing them as "current strugglers" in the worldwide web.

When you're ready to launch, push it right here in the warrior forum.
I'm sure something like that will get the warriors feeling all cushy and warm inside, enough to get a good amount of traffic to the video. A good number might be kind enough to share the video in their own sites.

And once its done, share the income with the 10 strugglers. may not be too much. but the promo their sites get will certainly be a boost.

PLUS, with your idea, it would also have a massive viral effect for others who are or could be struggling to make ends meet... after all 2013 is going to push a lot of people over a debt cliff... the idea of warm and cushy warriors is frightening... Oh sorry that was a dream I had LOL! But get what you mean 100%...

Maybe give 10 "noobs" or "strugglers" [once they have proven they are real!] a bit of a social frenzy with some traffic etc etc

I think something really good that you can do to celebrate your 30 years online is to reach out to those that haven't had the opportunity to realize or know about the existence of IM. And by this I mean those in really difficult times, for example reach out and give talks to foster homes and let the kids and teens there know that there is future in IM and they can do something about it. Being a teenager myself, I've always been thrilled of the idea of making money online and not doing a day job. So why not reach out to these unlucky teens? Just pick an organization or a foster home and go with your team to give this special talk. Give them a little hope

If you want to go REAL EXTREME, well then maybe you can go to rehabs or even prisons to give your talk. Let the inmates know, there are much more possible ways of making money instead of risking themselves, killing people, robbing etc2. Let them know that as soon as they're out, there is something waiting for them, a new opportunity to life. Maybe you could create a special website/forum for them. At least they know that there is someone they can contact to when they're released.

That's just a few parties that you can reach out to. Definitely there are a lot more organizations that you can do something similar. Then from the talk that you give (make it interactive, let them respond to you), make sure you choose that ONE person that shows a lot of interest in what you are talking about, then you can change his/her life

So not only are you helping that ONE person, but you are giving hope to the others around him/her as well.
