Today I made 4 sales of product #1 for a total of $71.92 in commissions and which moves my grand total to $3857.82...and I now have 159 subscribers on my buyers' list... Today's stats: - 1st website = 22 visitors to my site - 2nd website = 7 visitors to my site - 3rd website = 4 visitors to my site - 4th website = 6 visitors to my site - 5th website = 12 visitors to my site - 6th website = 15 visitors to my site - 7th website = 0 visitors to my site - 8th website = 24 visitors to my site - 9th website = 3 visitors to my site - 10th website = 16 visitors to my site - 11th website = 0 visitors to my site - 12th website = 38 visitors to my site - 13th website = 63 visitors to my site - 14th website = 19 visitors to my site - 15th website = 41 visitors to my site - 16th website = 0 visitors to my site - 17th website = 6 visitors to my site - 18th website = 23 visitors to my site - 19th website = 11 visitors to my site - 20th website = 72 visitors to my site - 21st website = 21 visitors to my site - 22nd website = 17 visitors to my site And of the 420 visitors to my site today 44 subscribed... Websites #20 and #22 published 1 of my articles to their site today...site #20 has published 5 of 8 articles that they're interested in thus far... The webmaster for site #22 got back to me today and he said that he's interested in using ALL of my articles!  Apparently he's not interested in creating his own content...he's been paying writers, accepting guest posts, and he's starting to accept syndicated content as well...he basically wants to curate as much content as he can in the women's beauty market... His site has only been up since this summer and he says he's still working on building his traffic...so I'm probably not going to get a huge amount of traffic from his site to start but I think in the future his site is going to be big...it's just a feeling and I could be wrong but regardless I'll take whatever traffic I can get from his site...  As for what I accomplished today...I contacted 30+ new websites...it was fairly tough to find sites that were suitable and sites that I hadn't contacted yet so it took awhile...I "reconnected" with a few websites that I've contacted in the past...and I made a few changes to the website geared toward my buyers' list... Moreover, I got some replies to emails and you guessed it...they were to turn my offer down or they wanted "unique" content...but the webmasters who were interested in "unique" content went onto my list for future reference of webmasters only interested in "unique" content... And now for the news that some may not be happy to hear... Tomorrow is the last day that I'll be posting updates on my progress...these last few months seem to have flown by and I can't believe what I've accomplished! It's kind of surreal. But as you can see my days are basically spent doing mostly the same tasks over and over again without deviation...is it a bit boring...YES...but is it working...a resounding YES! So as I've said from time to time in this thread and my 1st thread before this 1...just pick 1 method of traffic generation and stick to it until you start getting the results you want or until you feel that you've done it justice and THEN move onto another method of traffic generation...focus is key! I focused on 1 method of traffic generation, i.e., article syndication...I focused on building both of my lists as opposed to getting the sale right away once the visitor hit my site...I focused on ClickBank as the way to monetize my list as opposed to trying to monetize with multiple things such as Adsense, Amazon, CPA, etc. at the same time...AND I picked 2 products to promote as opposed to bombarding my lists with multiple and ever changing products... Obviously my way isn't the only way that works...it probably isn't even the most effective way to go forth but it's really the only thing that's ever worked for me in a pretty big way... But please if you're a newbie, someone who hasn't seen very much success, or a more advanced IMer that's seeing success but looking for something else to include in their arsenal try focusing in on article syndication... It's not guaranteed to work but if you're a pretty good writer, if there's multiple outlets that you could submit your content to, and you have a marketing system/sales funnel set up beforehand that converts decently then you have a pretty good shot at being fairly successful with article syndication... |

Hey Brittany, First let me say good job. It just amazes me you can actually make money with a digital CB product that is really more or less a tangible type niche (at least from what I can tell with the Skin care niche and beauty niche.) I mean Iam sure it is pretty common sense stuff with skin and beauty and something that you could find for free on the internet most anywhere. There are literally tens of thousands of sites that you can get info. about women's beauty products and skin care techniques and learn a lot that way and learn about solving any problems a individual might have related to that niche for free. But like I have said and many others have too, that people will rightfully pay for information that is all inclusive in a convenient package they can view at the tip of their fingers. Instead of hustling around and trying to find it for free, scattered in different areas of the Web. (Ironically though, a lot of people will not promote CB products because of the very notion of most of this stuff being found free) But it is all about perceived value. I know I have bought e-books on fixing up little things around my house knowing good and well I can see it done by a plumber or an electrician step by step on You tube for free.  I love Capitalism :>) Anyway, keep up the great work ! |

Brittany, I realize there is one more update later and I just wanted to thank you so much for your detailed and inspiring journey, answering all the questions that I and others asked as well as your analysis of what you've found to be effective in terms of article syndication, e-mail sequences and approaching webmasters. You've proven that an intelligent system coupled with determination and the ability to be consistent, even through the monotonous parts, can be very successful. I am curious if after 3 or 4 months if someone doesn't purchase from the autoresponder if maybe they might at that point be more receptive to a different product, but I totally appreciate that you don't want to muddy things with multiple products. Thank you again for this amazing report, far better than most purchased products! Debbie |

Actually you'd be surprised at how much misinformation there is out there AND how little a lot of people actually know about proper skin care... So finding a solution that actually works, doesn't ruin a person's skin over the long term, and finding it all in 1 place without having to spend hours over the internet piecing together what could be incorrect information is not what some want to spend their time doing... Some people want the information right at their fingertips and want to be told exactly what they need to do...this should sound familiar...it's the common theme on the WF lol... I'm seeing success using a model that has been posted by warriors like Alexa Smith and MYOB for a few years for FREE but in the meantime I was spinning my wheels following information I had to pay for in WSOs... Some of the information in WSOs were useful but for 1 reason or another...lack of focus, information overload, laziness, it didn't resonate with me, etc. I didn't see any real success... Now I'm following a strategy that has been laid out several times on the WF and it was FREE...go figure lol... So while I probably would get better conversion rates selling physical products as opposed to digital in this industry I prefer the digital because I want to actually help my subscribers and I feel that the VAST majority of physical products in the skin care industry do more harm than good... Furthermore, bits and pieces of this information can be found for free on the internet...especially the 1st product that I promote...but the 2nd gets more into a system and basically holds the person's hand for what EXACTLY to do... And again it's just like the WF...the person lead in product...the lower priced product that gets people into their sales funnel is the information that could probably be found on the WF for FREE... But the "upsell" goes into exactly what the person needs to do and the vendor is usually more helpful and hands on because it's a higher priced product... So my point is that most information can be found freely on the internet with few exceptions, at least that's my opinion, but some people don't want to spend hours, days, weeks, months or even years trying to discern what's good information and what's bad information and then trying to piece it all together when you can just pay to get it... For some people 'time is money' I guess lol...:p Oh and this post wasn't an attack against your post it was just to explain/clarify why people would pay for information in the skin care market as opposed to buying a physical product or in MANY cases people by both information and physical products in this industry...

Yeah I've been thinking about this as well...just another thing that I'm going to have to add to the list and test... I have been kicking around the idea that fellow warrior Yukon mentioned early on in this thread and that's doing surveys with my subscribers...just not certain how I want to go about doing it just yet... So I end the challenge (or should I say the updates on this thread) with a grand total of $3911.76...$2411.76 over my goal! Granted I went an extra week past December 1st but I am HAPPY! Anyway... Today's stats: - 1st website = 14 visitors to my site - 2nd website = 3 visitors to my site - 3rd website = 4 visitors to my site - 4th website = 3 visitors to my site - 5th website = 8 visitors to my site - 6th website = 11 visitors to my site - 7th website = 0 visitors to my site - 8th website = 19 visitors to my site - 9th website = 2 visitors to my site - 10th website = 13 visitors to my site - 11th website = 0 visitors to my site - 12th website = 27 visitors to my site - 13th website = 46 visitors to my site - 14th website = 12 visitors to my site - 15th website = 28 visitors to my site - 16th website = 1 visitor to my site - 17th website = 3 visitors to my site - 18th website = 15 visitors to my site - 19th website = 8 visitors to my site - 20th website = 66 visitors to my site - 21st website = 15 visitors to my site - 22nd website = 23 visitors to my site And of the 321 visitors to my site today 29 subscribed... Websites #20 and #22 both published 1 of my articles to their site today... As for what I accomplished...I created 1 new message for both my lists...I sent out 30+ "reconnection" emails to websites I've contacted in the past...and I continued to make a few minor changes to the website geared toward my buyers' list... Furthermore, I got a few replies from websites I've contacted and there were no takers...not even 1 was interested in getting "unique" content... Moreover, an interesting thing happened today that hasn't happened thus far...someone entered in a fake CB receipt number to get on my buyers' list...I removed them from the list but up until today it hadn't happened... So I'm going to quit procrastinating about getting the CB List Automator...a fellow warrior member was able to reach them and they still support the product...I tried contacting them via email a couple of times but didn't get a response...apparently I was contacting an old email address or something... So tomorrow I'll be making that purchase and then I'll practice installing it on a "throw away" site I have so that I don't disrupt things with my regular buyers' list opt-in until I know how to install the software correctly... Anyway, that's it for my final daily update post! I hope that people really do get something out of this thread whether it's to get started...focus on 1 thing...to try article syndication...etc... It's just not for me to be honest... And Smokey is doing A LOT better but he's still not 100%...having some stomach issues and we're still not certain if he has some kind of food allergy and what that allergy could possibly be... Thanks for asking about how he's doing.
