Need a Name For Local Directory Site...

Hello,

I am creating a site similar to yelp.com, foursquare.com, local.com and so on...

I know these are the top major sites, but I have a twist never been done before

Anyway I am looking for a short catchy name to name it so it will be easy to remember.

If you can suggest a name and I select it, you will be rewarded nicely once it is launched.

I appreciate all help in this..

The "twist" is more likely to be the inspiration of your name - best for marketing too.
Without that tidbit (understandably) employing the warrior forum to deplete all possible
imaginations for a quality name for you (that you would like) is simply not efficient and will probably lead to mediocre branding - "probably".

Good luck finding a name worth using. There's not much left out there in the .com TLD. I have spent hours and hours looking. Cyber squatting has eaten up a huge number of good names.

name on any famous local building!
like towerdir.com or like hudsonvalleydir.com

Several ideas come to mind. Name it after a famous street in the area. Or a famous event.
And if you're still stumped. The word Metro followed by the town/area you're serving will often work well.

Toodoo dot com or something. So it makes sense, but also has a ring to it.

Everybody wants short and catchy - not much left in .com, and that's the only TLD to consider. I'm not sure it needs to be zelp.com or whatever. Catchy is good, but it can be a bit longer if it's interesting and descriptive - yourtake.com, yourhelp.com etc. Both probably taken fer sure, but that's the idea.
