Flippa Circling the Drain fast ? Are they paying for good reviews ?
So I got an email that someone gave a thumbs up to an old review of Flippa I posted on Trust Pilot a long while ago.
Out of curiousity I checked to see how bad Flippa's star rating on TP is now.
I was staggered to see it's 4 out of 5 stars.
Then I started to read the reviews.
Newer reviews that seem 90% fishy.
Super 5 star glowing reviews.
And anyone who frequents complaint and review sites know that bad reviews are the norm.
Rave reviews stand out as oddities.
Most reviews parrot the same phrase ""Flippa is the best and trusted marketplace for selling websites" Uh-huh.
Plus raves about the fast customer service.
It appears that Flippa might possibly be paying for reviews...
Perhaps.
Also the fact that Freelancer just bought Escrow.com must be a fresh wound for Flippa.
Just think of your biggest competitor controlling one of your forms of payment.
