I'm a regular piece of paper kind of guy. But regardless of what you use to do this... its the process itself that counts.

You are taking an idea from just that, and idea.. and physically putting it to paper. For me personally this is when an idea becomes a concept. The moment the Concept is put to paper, that is when the possible realization of that idea starts.

With anything the "Idea" is obviously step 1. Step 2 is then writing it down. from here I think you get into step 3 and that is Concept Engineering ( definition: What is concept engineering? definition and meaning ) This is where the rubber hits the road. is it a viable concept?

From step 3 there is basically a fork in the road. No the concept will not work, or YES... that was a great idea and the concept has legs.. lets run with it!

Step 4 in the process is the last statement in the definition of Concept Engineering... and that's "Selecting Action"
