5 years of working online and these are the things that actually work in terms of Marketing

On reddit I've stumbled upon valuable article, where Redditor shares his techniques he uses in marketing. Full article is available here:
5 years of working online and these are the things that actually work in terms of Marketing. [Warning, has 1538 words] : Entrepreneur (I can't copy full text of article here, because it is against warriorforum rules)

It will be helpful for those who are going to launch a product and acquire users.

One technique that I want to add which works for me is email outreach. But flip side of email outreach it can't be scaled like advertisement.
#content promotion #email acquisition #growth hacking #influencer #influencer marketing #marketing #online #terms #things #work #working #years

Good read..for me the most important nugget is getting in touch with influencers. I tried to do it so many times and they don't even bother. However, his method of getting their attention makes a lot of sense to me and I'm sure I'm going to have better results with it

I also liked his approach to reach out to influencers. You mentioned that you had bad experience before. Can you write about this?

Until now I've tried doing it the direct way: contacting them via their contact page, adding them on linkedin etc. And usually they don't reply, or their assistant gets back saying that they're really busy right now and don't have time for what I was proposing.

"One tip that works is by subscribing to their mailing list and reading the things they send you. Most of the time they will ask you to reply if you have questions. And always have at least one brilliant question. They will most likely respond, since they contacted you first. See it now? If you contact them first, they’ll probably not reply. But if you are simply replying to their email to you, they’ll feel obliged to respond."

I like that strategy. Good stuff in the article. Thanks for the share.
